Please allow us to get rid of this 'Conversation History' folder. I have no use for it and it just takes up space.
Allow us to remove the 'Conversation History' folder. I have no use for this and never will. Please allow us to delete it.
Thanks for your patience. We’re putting Hiding the “Conversation History” folder (and other empty, unused folders) under consideration, for possible Outlook.com improvements.
Allow delete/hide of Conversation History folder
Allow users to get rid of or hide folders deemed as irrelevant; Archive, Junk Email, Conversation History, RSS Subscriptions
They take up a lot of screen real estate and I'd be better served with folders that I know work for me.
You gave us the option with the Focused/Other inbox folders. Do the same with the folders I mentioned above.
Get rid of the conversation history folder!! I hate that there is a random folder. It annoys me every time I open my inbox! Its a pointless feature and something needs to be done ASAP
Just use MFCMAPI
open the program
select the correct outlook profile Click OK
Right click on the mailbox name to work on and select open store
Expand Root Container
Expand top of information store
Select the 'Conversation History' folder
Right Click Select delete
Check the box for Hard Delete
It will remove it from the system
If you have skype for Business still installed it may come back
Just use MFCMAPI and delete it from the top level information store
I dont understand why you still keep this folder there. Many of us is asking for an "option" that we could remove this from our personal mails. Adding an option to personalize our own mail shouldn't be this much problem. Please hear us out.

Agreed. This folder is so confusing and makes no senses at all.
Yes, this is infuriating that we have no choice. Also give us the choice to remove the Archive folder and RSS Feeds along with it.

Agreed! It takes up space for something I never use! P.S. I would also like the ability to delete the Archive Folder or at least re-name it!
DELETE THIS. It's absolutely infuriating that it exists alongside the folders I actually use and need!
Please at least allow for the folders to be hidden or moved to be inside other folders. Deleting would be ideal.
RSS, Conversation History and Archive please
I can’t believe after many years you still got this useless “Conversation History” folder as a default folder in outlook which can not be deleted and it takes up room.
Please remove this folder, if one wants a folder one will create it and name it appropriately. Folders should not be put in as default and unremovable.
Please remove it ASAP, thanks !
Please let us get rid of this folder, I do not use it and it clutters up my email!

Why has Microsoft added so many useless folders in Outlook for Mac that we CAN'T delete? Please re-design this program to allow your users to delete Clutter, Conversation History, Archive, Outlook Customer Manager etc.. Many of us use folders and find it annoying to scroll through all these ones, I'm going to use Mac Mail until I receive word that you have up.updated your software. The unfair thing is I still have to pay for Outlook. Thank you

Why have folders like this that cannot be removed. This folder is junk and not used by me. It just takes up space.
For the long time I've had with waiting for a solution to deleting the Conversation History folder - makes one wonder when or even IF Outlook are going to do anything about it!!

This is soooo annoying. I have my folders arranged in a very specific way and every few days these **** undeletable folders rearrange themselves and mess everything else up.
Make an option to hide/delete RSS Subscriptions, Conversation History, and Archive.
Unable to delete RSS folder
Can we please get rid of this completely unnecessary “Conversation History” folder. Just like thousands of others, we don’t use it, we don’t want it, so we should have the option to remove it.
Maybe Microsoft will actually start caring when we leave and stop using their services. Pretty sure that’s what I am about to do!
found this thread when googling how to hide this cr*p... disappointed to see there isn't an option and users being ignored.
