Please allow us to get rid of this 'Conversation History' folder. I have no use for it and it just takes up space.
Allow us to remove the 'Conversation History' folder. I have no use for this and never will. Please allow us to delete it.
Thanks for your patience. We’re putting Hiding the “Conversation History” folder (and other empty, unused folders) under consideration, for possible Outlook.com improvements.
I support Anonymous. Stop this clutter and conversation history folders. Get rid of them or give us the option to remove/delete them if we don't want them. ALSO, in the Outlook app on my iPhone I went to Help & Feedback > Contact Support. I sent a message and got a reply. NOW, how can I delete this conversation since I don't want it to sit there forever???? Or will it auto deleted after e.g. 30 days???
Please, please, please stop adding all these clutter folders!
Let us delete conversation history, clutter, RSS feeds and all the folders we don't use.
Please allow us to hide or delete these folders. It's unnecessary clutter that complicates the user experience.
Why do we need junk and spam box, then spam goes to deleted. TOO much redundancies!

“Conversation History” folder is quite disturbing as i didnt noticed that inbox emails are automatically getting moved there whih damaged me alot as i saw a lot emails later.
I need to hide or get rid of the following folders: Archive, Conversation History, RSS Subscriptions, Search Folders. It's as if every few days, another mysterious folder appears in my list. I don't have room or patience for this. I have a hundred other folders that I actually use. Give us this option, already. If you can add them for no apparent reason, you can easily give us the option to remove them. Try making your customers happy for once. This isn't hard...

I only access my e-mail via. Outlook.com in a Web browser.
I have never used Archive, Conversation History, Notes, RSS Feeds nor Groups.
Can we please have an option to hide these folders?
Please, give us the option to remove or hide "system folders", like "Conversation History", "Notes" and "Groups"...
They are useless and do nothing but take space and clutter the UI.
I've been chasing all day for an important file and was assured several times it had been sent and were then re-sent.
Finally found them and several others up to a week old sitting inside the Conversation History file when I searched under the sender name.
When I opened the file they all automatically de-camped to Inbox.
What sort of perverted logic created this merry-go-round?
OMG, going through this folder and I have dozens and dozens of emails I have missed!!!
I would like to know why I have random emails arriving in my 'Conversation History' folder. I have had people saying they have emailed me but I haven't received anything. I just didn't notice this folder to look in there, until this evening. I have just found lots of emails I needed in this folder. Why, oh why are they going in there and how can I change the settings so that they come into my inbox, like all my other emails?
When looking at my Mail folder options, I've noticed that some options I've never used while others don't make sense.
- Conversation History
Don't make sense/don't know how to use:
I'd like greater control over which folder options I see.
Microsoft, why do you seem to decide that your user base needs a bunch of useless items cluttering their screen space? Over the past few months we have received "Conversation History", then "Notes", and now "Groups". All of which are absolutely useless for 99% your personal Outlook users. If you want to flood the O365 and Business users, go ahead, but how about some options to turn these items off, or at least remove them from being displayed?
I would prefer you allow us to delete it and not just hide it. If you only add the ability to hide it and not delete it, please make sure it is also hidden in email clients like Outlook 2019 and Mail for Windows 10.
+1 removing this. It's super annoying. Thanks!
+1 to being able to remove this, very frustrating.

I agree. Please allow us to delete the Conversation History if we want to.
Every time I see the "conversation" folder it ticks me off! I almost never used "messenger" before it was merged to Skype. And wasn't a big Skype user. Now that they are merged, I never use them. Any folder I can't remove when unused, ****** me off!

Please add this feature.
Has there been any progress on this? Completely agree with the user above; I don't use Conversation History, Notes or Archive, it would be great if I could hide them so the folders I do use are more visible. Or at the very least be able to order folders in any order - no matter what I do/how I rename things, Conversation History and notes appear above other (used) folders in the web version of Outlook.
