Please allow us to get rid of this 'Conversation History' folder. I have no use for it and it just takes up space.
Allow us to remove the 'Conversation History' folder. I have no use for this and never will. Please allow us to delete it.
Thanks for your patience. We’re putting Hiding the “Conversation History” folder (and other empty, unused folders) under consideration, for possible Outlook.com improvements.

I don't know what this Conversation History folder is for or what it does. All the google hits I find for it seem to be from people wanting to get rid of it. There must be SOME idea behind it, but that idea seems to have completely escaped the customer base...
Just Get Rid. -

We need to be allowed to have more control over what we hide or not. Coversation history, notes and the like are clutter and we should have the option to get rid of them. God, I hate how controlling Outlook is. Getting ready to switch to a different provider.

Theme song: "Please, please, please, let me get what I want" by The Smiths. Yes, it takes a lot of programming work to let people customise things as they want. If you copy so much things from Apple, copy this: do your homework, and put the things the easiest way for your users. Please do not impose your ideas, as someone here said, most of the time, your ideas are wrong. Don't let your programmers decide the layout, they are not suited for this; layouts should be designed by designers and people who takes the USER EXPERIENCE very serious.

Look at how many times users have to say..."please let us..." You want us to like your programs but you pre-configure them in ways we cannot fix to our liking.
I don't like grey themes. I don't like hidden commands like Forward. I want to customize the commands so that they appear on the ribbon where I can see them and use them. I do not want to have to find a squirlly quee icon, or a triangel icon, or some other ridiculous icon.....I want to see words that mean something. Not hidden icons or grey small icons.....

the whole layout is terrible. the greyness of the layout makes it hard to recognize folders and subfolders.
why are all techies into bland grey that makes distinguishing things so much harder?
Let us decide the coloring of the layout. Not just Black or Grey. Let us customize the whole **** thing the way we want....not what you think we want. You are wrong most of the time.

What I wonder is whether this folder will be removed when Skype For Business is phased out. After all, the conversation history folder is part of Skype for Business.

Just adding another vote to the "this is absolutely pointless" voices. Not wanted, not needed, can't be deleted. How can we not have control over our own emails?!!

I would like to add my voice to this conversation: Please hide the Conversation History. As others have mentioned, you have been avoiding this request for far too long.

This request dates from many years ago. Almost 1,5 year ago you asked for our patience. Till when? Till we are old or very dead? Why bully your customers with folders we did not ask for and don't want? Same goes for "Archive", "RSS Feeds" and "Search folders". Why continue to purposely annoy your customers and chase them away?
PLEASE, LET US REMOVE OR AT LEAST HIDE THESE UNNECESSARY SPACE GUZZLERS -

I support the removal of Conversation History folder - completely useless and, as others have said, only adds to the clutter! Please remove.

I agree: one is constantly battling clutter: why must we have folders we never use? This simply makes lives difficult and adds things to the list for using another email client.

I'm on outlook.com and both the Conversation History and RSS Feeds folders only clutter up my email. I've never used them and don't believe I ever will, but I always have to navigate around them. Thanks.

I support the removal of "Conversation History", "RSS Subscription" and "Search Folders". All useless for me.

Can we get an update on this? It's been under review for over a year! This really does not show your customers that you care about their concerns if you don't reply faster than this.

i can't believe it is still under review. doesn't it only make sense so be able to hide a folder which has no purpose to the main stream?

Ok, it's been under review officially now for over a year. Please let us delete this and the other garbage folders we don't want or use.

Please let us delete the extra Microsoft folders in email? Archive, Conversation History, Scheduled, and Subscribed Public Folders? I try hard to keep things organized & I cannot delete these five folders. They are cluttering up my inbox & I wish I could remove them. Thank you!!
