Please allow us to get rid of this 'Conversation History' folder. I have no use for it and it just takes up space.
Allow us to remove the 'Conversation History' folder. I have no use for this and never will. Please allow us to delete it.
Thanks for your patience. We’re putting Hiding the “Conversation History” folder (and other empty, unused folders) under consideration, for possible Outlook.com improvements.
I want to be able to delete the Archive, Notes & Conversation History folders. If I need a folder I can add it myself.
Please please allow the user to delete the unwanted folders. They just sit there empty. We don't need Microsoft to thing for us, we can do that ourselves - I HATE unwanted clutter - and in particular electronic clutter. Not needed, not necessary, just allow us to get rid.

Along with many others I too want to remove Archive, Notes and News. It would be great with an option in the setting to choose which default folders to show or hide. Thanks.
I want to continue using the Folders view where all my folders are located.
OH MY GOD...Overnight i have 3 new unwanted folders appear in my menu. Is this some type of joke you Outlook people think is funny just because i complained about it ?? Well now there are 7 useless unwanted undeletable **** folders...
Seriously is Outlook hiring fools now to clog and ***** up what used to be a smooth simple beautiful email service ? I can honestly say that i would never in my right mind pay extra for anything premium based on this freeware. My faith and trust is gone. Im not waiting for you guys to fix this rubbish. You have wasted enough of my time and respect. Based on all the other complaints i can see what customers want does not matter.
I can also say that since my previous email was shutdown with no explanation or help...and that i lost everything important to me...i have never trusted using this service again. So why would i ever continue to restore my faith in this service when its choking the life out of its usability ?? I really did show my loyalty and love up until today.
I would like to remove, not hide, unwanted folders. I have no need for a news folder because I'm bombarded with the news headlines when I sign out.
Please get rid of or give us a setting where we can remove unwanted cluttering folders from our menus. They are useless unwanted clutter. If we want a new folder we can create one ourselves using 'New Folder'...hows that for innovating !! And please get rid of the new News Folder...I dont want media rubbish pushed in my face and again cramming my menu like junk. I cant see my personal folders anymore without having to scroll each time to find whats important. I can tell you i will never use the premium version. I will just move over to Gmail. Its that simple.
Conversation History iy yet another waste of space like Archive and Notes
I agree with removing the "Conversations History" folder
What is the reason Microsoft is collecting data in conversation history, who profits?
- Conversation History
couldn't be deleted, but I never created those folders and have no use case for them.

Absolutely! Please STOP recreating it every time I delete it!
Seeing how long ago this request was made only points to Microsoft not caring about customers. Then again, a large number of users are oblivious to issues like this.
Reactions like "Oh, I never noticed" or "You are too picky".
I agree. The clutter of unused default folders is really annoying. Please do something!

The clutter of unused default folders makes it really annoying when using Outlook in Office365. Please allow us to hide any, and all, folders we wish to hide, even if we are not allowed to delete them, hiding them from view would be a huge help!

Conversation History, Notes, and RSS Subscriptions are all folders I didn't create, I don't use, that are empty, and that won't go away. PLEASE, let us hide them if even if we can't delete them!
If a Microsoft programmer had an unwanted dog **** in his yard he would remove it. So why can't I remove unwanted and unused folders from Outlook - e.g. RSS feeds and Conversation History? I've never ever used a RSS feed and don't know what it is. I don't want them. I don't use them. Can the message be any clearer? They are pointless. They get in the way. Just like a dog **** in my yard if I had one!

I want very much to use Outlook, but good grief. I cannot stand all the clutter of the folders I don't need. I'll not be using it now and will have to stick with a sub-par system. Please let us delete all these useless folder.

How do I delete unneeded folders like Scheduled and Archive? These are unnecessary for me and only reduce the visibility of my personal folders.
Hiding the Conversation History is a high priority (along with other unused folders). Not sure why this is defaulted and can be customized. When will this be updated?
I support Anonymous. Stop this clutter and conversation history folders. Get rid of them or give us the option to remove/delete them if we don't want them. ALSO, in the Outlook app on my iPhone I went to Help & Feedback > Contact Support. I sent a message and got a reply. NOW, how can I delete this conversation since I don't want it to sit there forever???? Or will it auto deleted after e.g. 30 days???
