Make it easier to make Safe Sender
In older versions of Hotmail, it was very easy to mark a sender in junk to be on the white list. Now it is extremely involved to mark a sender as safe. What little functionality there is for this just does 1 mail not the actual sender. Additionally, the fancy new addons with java script make it more difficult to get the email address of the sender you want to mark as safe making a messy workflow even more cumbersome. Outlook has some best filters of any email service but this functionality has gone from bad to worse over the years.
The old way was super easy you just click one button in the junk mail to "add sender to safe list". Not spend 10 minutes trying to scrape email address and jump deep into settings.
You can now add senders to your safe sender list by clicking into an email, then click the “…” menu located at the top right of the email, and selecting “Add to Safe senders”.
You can also view and add multiple senders to your Safe senders list at a time by going to Settings → Mail → Junk email → Safe senders and domains → Add.
Please add me to the list of voices clamoring for this feature. As I am often "offline", for years I have regularly Pop'd my emails so I have local copies. Having to retrieve good emails (several of my regular bills always end up in Spam) from Spam is frustrating.

THANK YOU!!! ANOTHER VOICE CLAIMING A FEATURE THAT SHOULD BE THERE SINCE THE DAYS OF HOTMAIL. ADDING THAT FEATURE IS IMPRESCINDIBLE instead of navigating to settings and adding them one by one.

I had a case open because I was not receiving automated emails because too many OTHER users marked them as SPAM. I was informed that the were being blocked before it was attempted to be routed to my Inbox, so adding them to Safe Senders did nothing. The only solution I was offered was for me to contact ANY AND EVERY sender that was being blocked and give them a Knowledge Base article on the changes they would need to make to the headers in the emails they send and MAYBE they will come through. As a web developer who sends automated emails, I know that was not going to happen for one person. I switched what I could to a gmail account and I get the notifications when school is closing early. I wish there would be more focus on ensuring that people get their emails., then work on the fancy options . For me, I just want the ability to see a plain and simple list of my emails.

For those of us with strict junk mail rules, it's crucial to include this feature as it used to exist. There used to be options to either add that particular address as a safe sender or to add the entire domain just by clicking menu options on that e-mail. Having to go into a separate window has been a pain, I usually wait until I have a bunch to mark as safe sender, copy those domains to notepad, and then add them.
Good news. I'd love to be able to click a button on the main message viewing window to add sender to safe sender list with subsequent options as to how to process sender (e.g. specific email, domain, etc.).
Strongly endorse the comments here and glad the feature is returning as it has been missing well before this beta. Maybe it was to safeguard the user, but having to continually select "this is not spam/junk" and never being able to add them as *permanent* safe senders or to Contacts has resulted in a lot of wasted time each day.
I am going back to the non-beta version because I cannot find an option to edit my safe sender/safe domain list. This exists in the non-beta version but where is it in the beta?
I concur - restoring and improving safe sender functionality should be a high priority.
And have unlimited safe senders...
AND make the filter KEEP these in the Inbox, NOT go into Junk EVERY. SINGLE. DAY!!!!

I haven't yet been able to figure out to get a good sender out of the junk. Tried rules, etc. but nothing works. Way too complicated.
But I just want to switch off all the filters because I find a lot of good mails in the junk folder!!!!!!!
I have not been able to find how to easily edit safe senders list as was available under Options in the past.
I generally use the Outlook Apps in Android and Windows 10, and neither of those Apps allow for use of Safe Senders list. If this is not available in the new Beta, then I have no way (that I can find) to modify, delete, etc. the Safe Senders List.
