Allow option to collapse folder pane to enlarge message view
Having the folder pane (list of inbox, archive, etc) always viewable makes the other two panes too narrow (message list and reading pane)...allow the option to collapse the folder pane so we can enlarge the other two panes.
Thank you for trying the beta version of Outlook.com! You can collapse the folder pane using the hamburger icon, located on the left of the “+ New Message” button.
Please add option to disable/hide files, groups in reading panel.

How to COLLAPSE list of folders as before?? Th. you to help preserve my sanity.
I agree with calling it a menu or list icon as well. I am viewing on a tablet using Edge, and it simply appears as three horizontal lines. That said, it's a huge improvement over the previous version. I was not always able to easily collapse the folders by dragging the border with my finger.
I didn't like that I was unable to enlarge the current message :(
Even with the folder pane collapsed there is still too much left right scrolling to read emails and no way, that I can find, to view the email in a new browser tab.

That's a hamburger icon? Even your jargon is obtuse. How about calling it a list icon or a menu icon?
Allow a smaller adjustable size for the sender panel. I tried to make is smaller to maximize reading panel and it would only do little ways. Should be fully adjustable or be able to minimize it completely.
I'd prefer to just have the listing of incoming email and a space to read the text. The width adjustment does not take away the folder listing. I enjoyed that feature of the older version.
