Drag and drop for contacts and recepients
just noticed that, the drag and drop features in recipients (to, cc, bcc) is somehow disabled
Thanks for trying the Outlook.com beta! Your feedback is critical to our success.
This is a feature we have planned, and will enable in a future update.

Cannot drag and drop email addresses between fields ("To", "cc" and "bcc"). This feature was available before and is convenient. Should be available in new edition as well.
I used to be able to drag email addresses from "To" to "CC" or whatever as necessary... now I can't. That's stupid.
Why can I not drag/drop recipients between CC and TO? Also, we can I note copy/paste email addresses with ease? These are the most fundamental of tasks, and should not be a headache.

BETA PROBLEM - one feature I'm missing is the ability to drag and drop an email from my cc to my bc box - it used to let me in the old system and now it just deletes it instead - I miss the drag and drop feature to move recipients of emails around.
Ability to drag recipients in between the To, CC, and BCC fields is broken. This is an extremely valuable feature to me. Please restore it. It is the only way to ensure that you are sending to the correct address without typos when doing a reply all but need to rearrange the recipients.
Can no longer "drag" an existing address from the To to the CC: field.
Example: You get an e-mail, you elect to respond to all, but you really only want one person in the "To" field and the rest in the "CC: field. In old Outlook.com, you could just drag those contacts down. Not possible any longer.
When responding to an email, I need the ability to move/slide an email recipient from CC to To

Still can't do this in Beta and real painful process when chopping and changing emphasis on email threads.

This feature which has disappeared helps me make it clear who is intended to act on the message (TO) I am sending and who has supported the context in the body of the email (CC). These players change as threads keep getting forwarded on to the final destination and for large companies with 10 Jim Smith's its a nuisance to type in the name again if it's not necessary.

it is not disabled for me but it is actually broken; when I try to drag contacts I get an azureblob url instead of the contact
1. @Name - This feature is not working.
2. Dragging of email address from CC to To is not possible. correct these.
Could not drag and drop address, search fields still bad, could not attach attachments, uses too much memory.
My idea!!!! Do the obvious, such as stop using a model which consumes 10**6 more memory than necessary.

Move person from TO to CC by drag&drop
I like the overall look and feel, but while drafting a mail. We cannot drag and drop the users from TO to CC or ViceVersa.
Same case goes with BCC and CC.

Standard Outlook version allows moving addresses by using drag&drop (i.e. from "TO" to "CC" and viceversa). This useful function seems not to work in Beta.
Please bring it in Beta :)
I used to be able to drag and drop contacts between To, CC and BCC. I can't do that on the beta version. Please fix!
Also, would be great if we could switch between the conversation view and message view.

Before I could drag and drop recipients from Copy to To field and vice versa. This is not possible in beta.
