Include an 'archive' quick action
One of the "quick actions" that appears when hovering over a message in the message list should be "archive."
Hello – First off, I want to again thank you for providing the feedback. I did want to update you and let you know that you can now add Archive to your quick actions when you hover.
To do this follow these simple steps
1) Click the Gear at the top right
2) This loads the Quick Settings Pane, scroll to the bottom and Select View Outlook Options
3) In this options dialog look at Customize Actions.
4) You can now select what actions you want. You will notice that Archive is also listed.
Hope this helps! Please keep the feedback coming.
It would be helpful to make it easier to archive emails by adding a shortcut when hovering over an email (similar to the existing hover shortcuts for delete, flag, etc)

Bulk moving to Archive seems like an essential Inbox Zero feature.
Can't live without this. Why remove customisability? I think we could choose which quick actions to show, before, but now in Beta we have no choice.
People don't have to customise if they don't want to, but for those of us who love customisability, it isn't fair to limit us to "popular" layouts.
Taking this away will have a serious effect on productivity for many of us!

I recommend the file "Active" instead of "Archive", due to character of Archive (long-term) and Active (short-term filing, due to be recalled)

Definitely want to see this. Makes it much easier to parse through the email message by quickly archiving or deleting messages.
