Make it easier to reply from different aliases
It's possible to enter full reply mode (instead of using quick reply, "add a message") and then show all options for aliases to reply from, but it's cumbersome.
Please make the different aliases associated with my account more accessible to me from the quick reply and the full reply modes.

If someone emails me using a "+" alias it's impossible to respond using that address - instead I need to use the actual mailboxes address. This is very confusing to the recipient and reduces the value of these type of aliases.

Agreed, I'd like default to be that I am replying using the alias the email was sent to
When I click on From, I get a list of my aliases and can select the one I wish to use.
However, the recipient still sees my primary email address, and the alias only shows when the cursor is moved over From address.
How do I send an email from an alias without my main email address also being seen by recipient?
I'm using beta!
Please make the "from" box a default, or at the very least automatically have the from address be the address that the email was sent to when I reply to an email.
I would like to see this done. I have different business titles with different organizations and run two of my own businesses. I need to reply with the associated email address.

Outlook should always "Show From" by default.

Agreed. This just needs to be a blue link in the same vein as CC and BCC - much easier than having to go into the full editor and hunt around in the menu.

Agreed - alias handling is poor when replying. Should be possible for Outlook to detect which address sent the original mail and continue using the correct alias, failing that it needs to be made easier to select a non-primary account when replying.
This is working now. If you click on 'From' when you are sending an e-mail, all your aliases will appear and you can choose which one to use.

As has been mentioned already. When I am responding to an email in the beta I can't select or even see which email I am responding from so I am having to revert to the old Outlook.

This is listed as "planned", yet there is an "Always show from" check box in the settings. Even when checked, this only seems to apply to new emails, not replies.
This is even more important than ever now since the beta uses your default address/alias even when the original email was sent to a different alias.
As already mentioned by others, It would be good to see from which alias your email was sent after sending. Quick replying seems not to use the alias of the previous sent email but a default? that i don't think can be set either?
It's good to not only set up your default alias but also to make it more easy to switch between them. This in itself could be an option (option to have the option to select alias without any menu clicks to first unhide it everytime)
I have different aliases for different boards that I'm on and I like to keep and sort emails and responses according to alias assigned to each board. When returning an email sent to one alias the default is automatically the original alias and I have yet to find a way to change aliases.
I don't see my alias email folder in Beta mode. This is the email address I use when applying to jobs or communicating with my employer so it would be helpful if I could see it in my folders list as before.

I use several email accounts in Outlook, I have to manually select to display "from" in order to verify the sending email address, thus if you fast reply an email without verifying the sending account it might send an email from another address (default sending account is not available in settings), which is confusing and unnecessarily causing me mistakes in sent emails.
Couldn't find option to send mail from my "hotmail" address or "outlook" address. Both emails are merged into one account. Sometimes I want to send email from "hotmail" and sometimes "outlook".
Allow the From Field to be shown by default for all messages (including replies). Very annoying how sometimes Outlook decides to change my from address to an alternate on a response and I can't see it because I didn't specifically select to show from on every message.

Sending email from linked accounts doesn't seem possible anymore and finding the 'from' field was too hidden. If this isn't restored then using the beta/this version when released will mean the end of using outlook/hotmail for me.
For some reason, in Beta I can no longer compose using a different email, which is exactly why I switched back to Outlook from Google inbox in the first place. In the old outlook I could easily choose from three addresses. Now I can't. What happened to that feature? Am I just missing where/how to accomplish this?
Sending e mails
I have a second email address in a folder set up. My first is my everyday and my second for a small business I have.
When I sent messages before I could change the sender to my other email address. Now it wont let me do that I have to always use my primary email. That will be very confusing to my clients
