Keyboard shortcuts not working
I'm trying the new open beta. In this preview, the keyboard shortcuts are not working. Even tried with different kb-shortcuts like Outlook.com, Gmail, ... It is set to Outlook (not Outlook.com) by default. The shortcuts were working in the old layout. Please fix ASAP.
We’ve fixed numerous bugs in this space in recent weeks and they should show up for you now.

We have recently shifted from G suite to Outlook. Till now the user experience is not very good. only move shortcut key works. that also works only when we click on the message list, if we click anywhere else on the window it doesn't work. Please fix this issue as it is very time consuming to use the mouse everytime.
I just want to thank your team for fixing the keyboard shortcuts. This makes an enormous difference in productivity!

I have Gmail keyboard shortcuts enabled, but the shortcuts are not working. V and v don't open the move. # doesn't delete ...

"The fixed build has just been made available but it is throttled initially. It will be Version 1902 Build 16.0.11328.20146. Since it is throttled initially you might not be able to get it yet. To force the install click File, Office Account, Update Options, Update Now."
When will shortcuts be fixed?
There was a message below that said this would be fixed by 26th February. Unfortunately this hasn't happened.
Please can it be confirmed when this bug will be rectified.

I've found that most of the keyboard shortcuts work, but not very well. Some of them appear to be position locked. I.e. if I click on the messages in the list the categorization and moving shortcuts work, but they don't work if I click on the body of the email in the main view pane.
Hi, any updates or workaround to this?
Please fix this issue of the short cut feature of the categorizes function in Outlook 365
When fixing update will be released?
This is not completed. I just restarted my computer for the new update today and the shortcuts to categorize emails still do not work. This is very frustrating. It is also not working for everyone else in my office.
Category keys were working and then, one day, NOT.
If I restart my computer and open outlook, the shortcuts will come back BUT be offset by X numbers (e.g. F7 is now F2); however, the offset is NOT the same for all category shortcuts. AND, after using the "offset" shortcut, ONLY ONCE, it then disables ALL CATEGORY shortcut again... PLEASE FIX THIS

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! Bring back the shortcut function for categories!
Hello, as explained below, the shortcut keys are really an important feature and sinds a few weeks, they aren't working anymore, which is really anoying.
When will there be a new realease to fix this issue ?
Shortcut keys for categories aren't working and it's driving me NUTS.
Why are the shortcuts no longer working? It worked fine until very recent?! I'd even like to use other keys not just Ctrl+F#..
Category shortcut keys are essential, why delete them?
Category shortcuts issue was acknowledged by Microsoft agents per https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/outlook-1901-112312130-category-keyboard-shortcuts/f0faab64-f919-4c44-ba71-728e2f50a221
--- "The fix for the categories shortcut issue is in builds 16.0.11325.10000 and higher. It will be the next major update ~2/26. You can see the build releases on this page to check when it goes out. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office365-proplus-by-date?redirectSourcePath=%252fen-us%252farticle%252fae942449-1fca-4484-898b-a933ea23def7 "
--- Only solution until the build release for 16.0.11325.10000 is to roll back to a previous working version :/
So very frustrating that the Ctrl F2-12 short cuts for categories are now working. I use it all the time.
If it helps anyone I've created a rule to categorise every new email that arrives. Once you have one category you can add/change. Not using Ctrl Fx of course but clicking on the category. It's slow and clunky but better than nothing!
Same issue here: if I click ctrl+F#, the emails do not get categorized. This is a major issue for me, I am seriously thinking of switching back to Gmail, as Outlook's main point of difference was the categorization !!!!!!
FIX ASAP PLEASE !
