Conversation view settings: disable conversation view or enable item view
I like the look of the new beta, however I wish there was an option to turn off conversation view (i.e. all replies stacked in a single thread). Depending on how you use email, it can be really helpful to have all emails listed individually.
December 2017: Thanks for your patience and continued use of the Outlook.com beta! We roll out new improvements every week, and are elated to announce that a recent update opened up this feature to you! You now can turn off Conversation View and show each item in your message list as its own entry. To do so, use the Settings (gear-shaped button) menu.
We will continue to make other improvements to the Outlook.com beta experience; thanks for your support!

Awesome. To the haters who complain Microsoft never listens to customers, think again. But I guess haters gonna hate...

No this is not in outlook.com. This is in the desktop app, outlook. I cannot remove the folder. I keeps coming back.

Philip at Outlook,
12/6/17: I still don't see an option in the Settings menu to disable Conversation view. Am I missing something?
Pam Feldstein Smith commented
I went to Settings and I don't see how to turn this off! Please be more specific. Thank you.

Microsoft, is there anybody out there that takes the customers seriously? I find it rather ignorant of Microsoft not to provide any meaningful response to the "Conservation view" issue for four months.

Dear Lynn Ayres,
i understand you have more to do on the programming side, but a request from customers that is so widely asked like this and the only response you give is:
"Lynn Ayres from Outlook (Admin, Outlook.com) responded · August 10, 2017
Thanks for your feedback on the Outlook.com beta! Yes we are working on an option to disable conversation groupings for email and it will come to the beta in a future update."
It is now December 5 and still no answer on when and where and the functions that are added only make outlook.com worse for a lot of users. For most people, e-mail isn't about chatting, there are other products to be used for (not to mention Microsoft is also able to ruin them, see Skype).
Please give us a time frame when this idiotic function can be disabled or i think you will lose a lot of customers...

And now you've added a new folder "Conversation history" that we cannot disable or eliminate???? Are you crazy????
Gmail... I'm nearer to you
Conversations are broken

yeah!... I don't appreciate folders like (conversation) being added to my inbox. I don't want it... & I cant delete it. just leave my folders alone thank you very much.
How do I turn off e-mail "conversations" in Outlook? I can do it on the app, but can't figure out how to do it on my laptop with the live.com website. I really don't like the conversation feature!

I know you said you are working on it, but when will the work be finished and that option included in beta on my laptop?
It is easy to disable conversations in the app I use on my IOS devices but not on a windows based pc, please explain?
