dark mode issues
The overall issue is darkmode is very hard to work with as a developer, until recently we could override certain things that were breaking but the recent update adds !important to the inlined styles so we can no longer fix the bugs it causes.
A few of the bugs that we’re facing include...
Light colours are adjusted but dark are not, leading to a lack of visual structure where contrast is being used.
When dark text is applied to a light background image the text is made light but the background stays the same making it very hard to read …76 votesWe’re working through these bugs, thanks for the feedback! We’ll have an update in the next couple months.

Connected Accounts Two Way Sync Back To Originating Mail Server
Connected Accounts (Sync Email) should sync back to the originating mail server, especially when connected over IMAP. For instance, if linking a gmail or icloud account to Outlook.com, if the email is deleted in the Outlook.com app, it should delete it on gmail/icloud.
21 votesThank you for your feedback.
The capability to use Gmail and Outlook together is rolling out gradually to a limited number of mailboxes at a time.
You can add your Google Mail and Calendar to Outlook.com and manage everything in one place. After you add your Google account, you can send email, create appointments, and add contacts with Gmail using Outlook.com. This lets you use many of the best features of Outlook.com while communicating via your Gmail address.
When you add your Google account, a copy of your email, calendar, and contacts will be synchronized between Google and Microsoft datacenters. Including this information in the Microsoft Cloud lets you use the new Mail and Calendar features of Outlook.com with Gmail.
Your experience on Gmail.com and within any Google apps won’t change. Your changes will update Google, too. When you send an email message from Outlook using your Gmail address, the…

Blocking selected senders
Without opening any questionable messages, the "Block" feature previously available in the "Junk email" folder was good in that it displayed the email address ID for the selected message(s) before giving the option to confirm the "Block" request. This helpful option does no appear to be available any longer.
80 votesWe are working on adding the confirmation dialog that will list the full set of email addresses in full when multiple senders are selected to be blocked.
Thanks for your patience and the feedback!

"Add calendar" options (subscribe to calendar, import ics files) were clearer and easier to find in old Outlook.com
The options for adding new calendars were easier to find when they were at the top of the page; now I have to scroll down to the bottom of my list of calendars to find them. It also does not make sense that the "From file" option is under "Discover calendars". If I have a file I want to add the calendar from, then I already know about that calendar and don't need to discover it, so I wouldn't look for that there.
73 votesHi
First, thank you for taking the time and submitting feedback. You’re comments and suggestions are a vital source of information! We’re actually in the process of releasing a fully revised Add calendar dialog. Many of you might already be seeing this new experience. Please keep checking back to see if you have the new updated version and let us know what you think!

Set email reminders on events
Please restore email reminder functionality to calendar! I rely on this to keep track of my schedule and I'm now using Google calendar because I can't get this Outlook.com beta to send me email reminders.
214 votesWe’re working on bringing email reminders to the beta experience. Thanks for the feedback!

Expand Calendar Color Choices
The selection of colors for calendars is very limited, and the 9 choices given have several that look very similar. I would love more choices, or at least choices that are more distinct from each other.
146 votesThank you for your feedback on the beta! We’re working on expanding the number of calendar color choices.

Today list on calendar month view missing
Love the email section
When using the beta calenadar, I no longer have today's calendar items on the right hand side on the month view.
I prefer month view and to see today's list.
115 votesWe’re working on bringing the agenda list in month view to the beta experience. Thanks for the feedback!

Calendar: Option to turn events from email off not working
When I disable the checkbox next to "Automatically add events to my calendar from email" and click on "Save" afterwards, Outlook only retains the change for the current session (tried with Firefox and Chrome). As soon as I log off and log in to Outlook again, the option is enabled again, meaning lots of unwanted entries are being listed in my calendar. (Also I have no option to go back to pre-beta as it seems.)
It would be great if this change could be retained even after logging off. Many thanks!16 votesThank you for your feedback! We are currently looking into this issue and will reply back once we have an update.

If you add #unread filter, the unread email always stays unread even after you read/clicked it.
89 votesThank you for your feedback! Opinion on this behavior in the unread filter is mixed, so we’ll be adding a setting where you can choose to automatically mark emails as read in this filter when reading normally.

Please add search folders
I use massively search folders on Outlook client, I would like retrieve them on the web client.
47 votesI want to thanks everyone for providing feedback so that we can make Outlook.com better.
The folder scopes that are available is limited today but you can still access them via the “All folders” button on the right side of the search box. You can also select a folder in the left pane first before you search. That will scope the search to just that folder.
We are working to improve the Advanced Search function which will allow you to scope your search to any folders. We will let you know when the feature is available.
Thanks!

Save preffered sort order for contacts:
Everytime I return to contacts, I have to change the filter to my preference.
OneDrive has a feature that allows you to save your preferred sort order.
That would be a great consistent use of the feature in outlook throughout.12 votes
