Contact info panel
Could you please bring back the contact info panel?
In old Outlook, when you clicked on the email address/contact, info panel showed up on the right side. You were able to see mails, files, events or schedule a new event.
In the current implementation this feature is gone. When I click on the contact I see a few emails, files, but that's it. No schedules, nothing... And when I get outside of that window, it closes, so the whole view disappears.

'People ' should be called Contacts.
'People ' should be called Contacts. sometimes it's a company that;s not a 'human' , thats a firm, an operation lol, not a people/person. ?? People is an awful label for CONTACTS.

Contact Lists / Groups needs to be more intuitive and easier to use
To create a Group of Contacts, should be easy to do, and easy to then email to. We should be able to simply scroll through the list of contacts, checking boxes next to each name; from there it should be easy to not only email the selected contacts, but also create a Contact Group from that selection.
Currently if you select contacts in this manor you literally cannot do ANYTHING to them. You can't delete in bulk, you can't create a new message to the selected, and you cannot create a Contact Group in this fashion. This is very confusing…

no list
Going to "People" no longer shows the list of contacts, just the first name. I'd like to be able to see every name on my list occasionally so I can decide whether or not to keep them as contacts. Also, when updating a contact's email address, I can't get rid of the old one, so I have to manually enter the whole new address to send an email to that person. Go back to the old way. You "fixed" what wasn't broke, and broke it.

Contacts birthday shifted
Birthday on contacts card ist shifted one day back, while in the old view the date is correct. Very annoying.
Many functions missing: connected accounts, remove - add birthday calendar, rules and last but not least proper sync of contacts with Outlook!

icloud contacts
To import contacts in a vCard file to Outlook on a PC, you need to convert them from a .vcf file format to a .csv file format. This involves importing them to Windows, and then exporting them to the CSV file. If you have more than 50 or so contacts, this is a tedious process because you have to press OK for each contact you want to import to the csv file. Unfortunately, there's no way to do a global OK and import all of them to the csv file at the same time.
Come on - simplify this please...

Contacts
In the old Outlook I had my contacts in categories. I could just type in that category and the names would come up. I no longer have that options. I have to now type in each name separately. Please return this feature. It was under manage contacts.

Contact List
Just recently a bunch of my contacts, especially my groups, became harder to find. They no longer come up when I am drafting a message. I discovered that I have to switch over to the "People" tab then click on "Contact List" just to find them. This is infuriating.

Contact Photos
Currently when going to Outlook.com > People we are unable to add Photos to our contacts. The only work around is by using "Windows 10 > People" app. This method is also not working well.
On People app (W10) adding a photo to a contact (314x314) or (640x640) of JPG format shows up on People App. After pressing SYNC on People App some photos get uploaded others don't.
Using an iPhone and adding contacts have the same problem. Contacts with a photo on Outlook.com > People, do not display the photo on Contacts, while others randomly do.
Inconsistencies:

Bring back Contact Groups!!
Why don't you allow saved Contact Groups? Most of us only need 10 or fewer contacts (family, friends, colleagues) in a group. Why did you stop that function?

Family Contact List
Our family base set of contacts we all care about, such as our core family and friends. It would be super helpful if we could have a family contact list much in the same way Outlook.com provides the family calendar feature. That way we can all share/manage that core list. As it is now my wife and I have to manage our contact lists separately, which creates a lot of unnecessary work. I can share a contact, but that is a "point-in-time" share. If one of us makes updates to that contact again, the other does not receive the change.…
