I am looking at Office 365 as a viable alternative to Google Apps. One of the most useful features of Google Calendar is that I can have multiple reminders specified. So for instance my default is to receive a reminder 2 weeks ahead, 1 week ahead, 2 days ahead and 2 hours ahead.
I can only see an option for one reminder on the Office 365 calendar and can't see how to add more. This is a serious omission. A basic calendar requirement in my opinion.226 votes
We’re looking at whether we can support this. Will update you soon!
Please restore email reminder functionality to calendar! I rely on this to keep track of my schedule and I'm now using Google calendar because I can't get this Outlook.com beta to send me email reminders.209 votes
We’re working on bringing email reminders to the beta experience. Thanks for the feedback!
We would like to print the calendar for any range of dates and list all of the scheduled events date and time etc150 votes
Thanks for your feedback. We’ll take this recommendation into consideration as we work on our new print experience for the beta.
The selection of colors for calendars is very limited, and the 9 choices given have several that look very similar. I would love more choices, or at least choices that are more distinct from each other.135 votes
Thank you for your feedback on the beta! We’re working on expanding the number of calendar color choices.
Love the email section
When using the beta calenadar, I no longer have today's calendar items on the right hand side on the month view.
I prefer month view and to see today's list.112 votes
We’re working on bringing the agenda list in month view to the beta experience. Thanks for the feedback!
The ability to easily set an auto-reply or Out of Office message is very important, and the ease in which OWA has implemented it in the past was great. Very surprised Automatic Replies are not included in the Beta.88 votes
With Outlook.com beta it appears I can no longer create new entries in the Birthday Calendar.
Also, I can no longer edit existing entries in the Birthday Calendar to change the Reminder.
If I leave the beta, I can again add new entries to the Birthday Calendar and edit existing entries to modify the reminders.
Please bring this functionality to the Calendar beta.76 votes
"Add calendar" options (subscribe to calendar, import ics files) were clearer and easier to find in old Outlook.com
The options for adding new calendars were easier to find when they were at the top of the page; now I have to scroll down to the bottom of my list of calendars to find them. It also does not make sense that the "From file" option is under "Discover calendars". If I have a file I want to add the calendar from, then I already know about that calendar and don't need to discover it, so I wouldn't look for that there.70 votes
First, thank you for taking the time and submitting feedback. You’re comments and suggestions are a vital source of information! We’re actually in the process of releasing a fully revised Add calendar dialog. Many of you might already be seeing this new experience. Please keep checking back to see if you have the new updated version and let us know what you think!
See the to-do task list in the calendar in a different format (not like events), like the weather. The fact that calendar and task are using the same calendar but you can't see them in the same page is awful!
Create new task, birthdays or events directly from the Calendar.70 votes
The new Calendar is garbage. Please keep the new Mail layout but revert back to the old calendar layout.59 votes
Beta mode took away the ability to add an iCal attachment directly to calendar. I love the beta so far and would really like this feature to come back.56 votes
Thank you for your feedback on the Outlook.com beta. This feature will be coming back in a future update.
add 45 minutes option in the list of time slot available in the endtime field when creating an invitation
lot of people don't need a 30min or 1h meeting but 45 to have some buffer
the same can be achieved by macro but we can ask all employee to create a macro for it53 votes
Thanks for your feedback! We’ll look into this.
Beta calendar still doesn't have the functionality of Classic... Thread says this is fixed but it's not...
Thread says Beta calendar is fixed to have reminders, but it still doesn't allow the email reminder. Still missing important functionality of Classic calendar.48 votes
Merge with calendars from other providers (e.g. Google)
I would like to link my Google Calendars also and get an overview on all my Events in the same view.43 votes
Old search in Outlook calendar required less clicks, had instant results, and the results showed on calendar in current month view. New experience requires me to complete my query and click search. The results are displayed in a chronological list which means the event I was looking for was at the bottom.40 votes
Please add the capability to duplicate a calendar event (not the same as repeat).
It could be done by right-clicking on an existing event, or by openning it and selecting to duplicate from an option menu.
Then allow changes to the newly duplicated event before saving.38 votes
I cannot add nor remove weather locations in the calendar, I must switch to non-beta version to do that. Why?37 votes
We’re working on bringing the ability to change weather locations to the beta experience. Thanks for the feedback!
I use Outlook Calendar to send myself email reminders of things I need to do, and I use the Edit link in those emails to open the Calendar item in order to change the date or time. The Edit link has vanished from the emails. Now when I open the email reminder it gives me no option to open the Calendar item. Please put that link back in to the emails from Calendar.37 votes
Being able to have start/end time of an event in different time zones. Google calendar has this feature36 votes
Outlook recurrence patterns currently include "Daily", "Weekly", "Monthly", and "Yearly". Can a "Quarterly" recurrence pattern be added? This would save time having to manually insert reminders in the calendar each quarter.35 votes
