Too much junk / spam: Junk folder becoming to inundated
20 year user moving to new platform. Flooded my junk box with advertisements now I have to search for any emails that may be of value to me that don't automatically filter to my inbox. It's a shame.

Obvious spam being sent to Inbox
Why is obvious spam not going to Junk or being blocked. 42 emails with the same "From" and "Subject" that arrived within 120 secs to my Inbox. These should have been filtered out and deleted or at the very least sent to Junk. Why weren't they?

Rules for junk
PLEASE add rules for junk mail. I often get mail in my junk mail that is actually useful, so I look in there often. Lately, I've been getting SO MANY phishing emails from Save Yourself trying to "blackmail" me into sending them bitcoin, and it automatically goes to my junk folder, but I want anything with the words "Save Yourself" to be deleted so I don't have to look at it. Their emails contain an old password of mine, and their emails are all different, so even if I block one, I'll get another email from a different address in…

Junk e-mail: block e-mail addresses using wildcards (eg *@*.can
Junk e-mail: why can't you allow the user to block e-mails using a wildcard and only part of the e-mail address? I receive, EVERY DAY, emails from pharmacy<something>.can and I want to block @.can instead of wasting my time to block every single instance, every single day
932 votesThanks for your feedback! Sorry to hear that you are having these problems with blocking senders.
Our junk / spam team is looking into this suggestion, and we should have an update in the next month or two.

Please allow us to get rid of this 'Conversation History' folder. I have no use for it and it just takes up space.
Allow us to remove the 'Conversation History' folder. I have no use for this and never will. Please allow us to delete it.

my junk folder is gone, so is my Focused and Others? Help!!!
Where are these folders? Did Microsoft change something the week of April 9th 2018??
809 votesWe’re sorry people are experiencing issues here. We have gone back to the old behavior for the left-hand folder tree to always show since last year and we hope this has addressed most issues.
There are some reports in the comments about individual folders not showing up. In order for us to get to the bottom of the issue, please post as much detail as possible in your comments. What steps are you taking? Which browser/computer/operating system are you using?
Thank you for your help.

Problems with Blocked Senders list and junk mail Filter Options.
The Blocked Senders list puts email from Blocked Senders into my Junk Mail folder, rather than into my Deleted Files folder, due to the differing and changing subdomains that the spammers use.
Outlook does not allow wildcard (*) to block all subdomains from each email domain.
The filter options to block all subdomains from each domain don't work.
How do I block all email with address in the PATTERN of a@a.b.c? Notice that a@a.b.c is a PATTERN, not an email address. An example of a particular spammer's address is holdon@holdon.luxuryzero.com which is in the PATTERN of a@a.b.c (format).
Please…

I hate the way that you have changed my email screen, please can you change it back again and perhaps ask in future if I need to change it.
I hate how you have changed my outlook screen. Please can you put it back to how it was. Perhaps you had better ask first in future before you change my things.

Find all emails from a sender
I frequently get multiple emails from a sender in one day or daily emails from a sender. In the previous version, I could hover over the first line of an email in the Inbox and a context menu would appear. Then I could select "find" and handle all emails from that sender from the results screen. I don't see how to do that in the beta.
I'll probably have to leave the beta version because I can't do this type of "find".
433 votesThank you for your feedback! This feature is planned and will come to the beta in a future update. We will reply back when it is available.

Multiple Calendar Reminders
I am looking at Office 365 as a viable alternative to Google Apps. One of the most useful features of Google Calendar is that I can have multiple reminders specified. So for instance my default is to receive a reminder 2 weeks ahead, 1 week ahead, 2 days ahead and 2 hours ahead.
I can only see an option for one reminder on the Office 365 calendar and can't see how to add more. This is a serious omission. A basic calendar requirement in my opinion.

Turning off spam filter
I can't turn off the spam filter. A lot of stuff (comment updates from blogs that I DO want) wind up in the spam folder. I'd rather turn off the spam filter totally and handle it in my regular inbox, but have found no way to do that. Goes for both beta and regular version. (In fact, that I can't fix the issue with wanted mails going into spam folder was the immediate reason I decided to test beta.)

Marked "Not Junk" email in junk folder
When I mark emails in my junk folder as not junk, Outlook should remember this, and not keep putting the next emails from this sender in the junk folder

2 options for 'select all' checkbox: Select All in view vs everything
In the old view I can select all, and have it select only the visible messages. With this new beta select all seems to select my entire inbox. I would like both options.

Reply using correct "from" address when hitting reply, reply all, forward etc.
In the beta, when you reply to a message, it sends the message reply back to the recipient using the primary alias as the "from" address. The non-beta version 'remembers' which address the person sent the message to, and sets that as the "from" address in the reply. This behaviour is essential for ease of email management when multiple "from" addresses are available. Also, it should be a lot easier to always see whop you're sending an email "from" when you're replying/forwarding etc.
I can see that there is a setting for "always show from" in the beta settings but…

Mark as phishing
There is no option to mark something as phishing. You can only mark something as "unwanted" (translated from Danish). Even clicking on this is not removing the mail from the inbox folder.

The "Top Results" items when searching aren't sorted by date, which is confusing.
It appears the Top Results items are sorted algorithmically based by relevance (?), but that ends up being counterproductive - especially when I know I want the most recent response to a set of threads with a unique keyword.
I've found myself searching multiple times and overlooking the result because it is at the bottom of the Top Results list even though it is the newest reply/thread.
You're already pulling out these as the most likely results - I don't see the benefit of sorting such a short list by relevance vs. something like date.
