Eliminate the suggested text that comes up ahead of what one is trying to type. It is a nuisance, distracting and not desired. Users should be able to disable the feature.107 votes

I am not able to check my contact list alphabetically while sending email by clicking on new email .178 votes
As of yesterday, the Contact Picker dialog has been returned to an alphabetical A-Z sort order. As many comments show, lots of Outlook.com users are already seeing the fixed behavior. If you do not observe this in your Outlook Web session, you will need to refresh your browser (or maybe even clear your cache).
Again, the sort order not being alphabetical A-Z was always a bug and was never by design.
You may be interested to know the next item on our plan for the Contact Picker: Soon, there will be a way to type letters and by so doing filter the list down to matching entries. This means you shouldn’t need to scroll over and over, in the future.
Thanks for your continued support.

Why don't allow us to log out?! Please direct us on how to log out.39 votes
Thanks for your feedback! In order to log out, click on the profile icon in the top right corner of the window. This is a round icon with either your profile image or your initials.
When you click this icon, a pane will expand. “Sign out” is one of the options on this pane.

Hey, I’m really sorry to hear you had this problem!
We had an issue for a couple days where some people weren’t seeing the mail in their inbox. This was resolved, though. Please let us know in the comments if you are still experiencing this problem!
You have mistranslated the word "phishing", you have translated it as "pesca" which is the Spanish word for "fishing". Either you put back phishing or you put identity theft, because "pesca" is ridiculous.28 votes
Thank you for the feedback. Our team has looked into this and made updates
provide separate sign out/log out button. NOT from a drop down menu.18 votes
I believe we were having an issue that has since been resolved.
The new section "Files" in the left bar (to access fast to the email attachments) should be moved below the main Mail Directories, because the main use of the interface is navigate between mails and not files.33 votes
we were testing this bud decided not to move forward with this design. Thank you for the feedback.
The amount of annoying pop ups trying to push new "features" feels very untrustworthy. Mail services should not be confused with social interactive sites.185 votes
Spell check used to be available in other ealier Outlook versions. Why not now?89 votes
Thank you to everyone using Outlook.com and for providing feedback. We wanted to let you know that as of today we have enabled spelling and grammar checking provided by Microsoft Editor for Chrome and Edge browsers (Firefox & Safari support to come soon). To access these suggestions, simply left click on the underlined text.
As you type, you will get underlines in red or blue denoting spelling and grammar suggestions, respectively. For users with a premium or M365 account, you will also have access to writing refinement suggestions such as clarity, conciseness, and formality denoted by purpled underlines.
To customize which types of suggestions show up, select the “Editor” button in the compose ribbon and select or deselect suggestion types. Or alternatively in settings → Mail → Compose and reply → Microsoft Editor.
You can find more information about Editor usage in Outlook.com at: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/check-grammar-spelling-and-more-in-outlook-com-and-outlook-on-the-web-c6b1283d-81a2-47f1-bc85-9e8dfc0cbf15.

This has been rolled out! Thanks for your feedback.
I simply do not like it. I do not understand why you people continue to ***** up an email service that did not need to be changed.

First off, thank you all for using outlook.com and for providing such great feedback. I wanted to address the feedback that you have left about not being able to do some of the advanced search that you had in the older outlook.com experience.
We actually do have advanced search. When you click in the Search box at the top of the screen, it will expand and there is a “filter” icon. If you click that icon you should be able to do date search, attachments, etc.
Hope this helps
Its fantastic to use dark mode for outlook mail and I hope that you will provide dark mode to other services such as One drive, One note and tasks etc382 votes
Thanks for the love!
As we speak, we’re working on more improvements to the Dark Mode experience. Stay tuned.
Please keep the feedback coming!
P.S.: We like lots of colors, not just blue.
I also have an Office 365 Home subscription... can that remove ads for me?6,331 votes
Update January 2018:
We have confirmed that all users whose email addresses have an Office 365 subscription attached to it are getting the ad-free Outlook.com experience. We encourage anyone who would like the ad-free Outlook.com experience to sign up for an Office 365 subscription, which comes with a plethora of additional perks and benefits.
In addition to this, users who would like to have a larger reading surface may find the Reading Pane Off/Hidden mode more preferable. This setting may be found in the Quick Settings panel, under Reading Pane > Hide.

Just wanted to provide everyone a quick update. I am happy to say that you should now be able to go manage your signature (from settings) and add an image in the new Outlook.com experience.
Thanks for providing the feedback. We truly value it!

We’re working on performance improvements currently. Can you give any more details about the browser / os / computer you are using, and when the slowness tends to occur?
Please, don't add advertising on our page of outlook or, if it's not possible, put them on the right side of the emails and very thin, so that way we will be able to see a lot of the emails that we have received and not only one or two as now.52 votes
Thanks for using outlook.com and providing the great feedback! We are constantly looking at ways of improving our ad experience. I did want to let you know that if you have an Office 365 subscription, you actually do get an Ad Free Outlook.com experience as well as more space!
Thanks for the feedback and please keep it coming.
The outlook.com dark mode is great start. Please make the Outlook.com Dark Mode even darker! Remove the blue title bar and all blue from the Dark Mode (at least give us the option). Blue light is bad for the eyes!
It appears the black theme is disabled for dark mode. We need a total blackout mode.126 votes
Thanks for your support. Themes, not just the default blue one, are now supported in Dark Mode.
If you're trying to chase me away from using Outlook, you're on the right track. Do I have to click to remove the popup announcement about the "improved" Outlook every single time I sign in? Do all the swell new features you crow about cause the extreme slowness of the system? Do you think people might not want your brilliant innovations forced on them, they're happy with things as they were?57 votes
Hello all – I just wanted to provide a quick update. We were able to get a patch pushed out which disabled the spalsh screen that some of you were seeing on each login.
You should not be seeing the issue any more. However, I do want to let you know that it is highly likely that you will see it one more time in the coming days. As the fix to the bug roles out it will trigger the screen just one more time.
Thank you for reporting this issue, and sorry for the annoyance it caused!
- Don't see your idea?
