  1. Too much junk / spam: Junk folder becoming to inundated

20 year user moving to new platform. Flooded my junk box with advertisements now I have to search for any emails that may be of value to me that don't automatically filter to my inbox. It's a shame.

  2. Obvious spam being sent to Inbox

Why is obvious spam not going to Junk or being blocked. 42 emails with the same "From" and "Subject" that arrived within 120 secs to my Inbox. These should have been filtered out and deleted or at the very least sent to Junk. Why weren't they?

  4. Junk e-mail: block e-mail addresses using wildcards (eg *@*.can

Junk e-mail: why can't you allow the user to block e-mails using a wildcard and only part of the e-mail address? I receive, EVERY DAY, emails from pharmacy<something>.can and I want to block *@*.can instead of wasting my time to block every single instance, every single day

  5. Rules for junk

PLEASE add rules for junk mail. I often get mail in my junk mail that is actually useful, so I look in there often. Lately, I've been getting SO MANY phishing emails from Save Yourself trying to "blackmail" me into sending them bitcoin, and it automatically goes to my junk folder, but I want anything with the words "Save Yourself" to be deleted so I don't have to look at it. Their emails contain an old password of mine, and their emails are all different, so even if I block one, I'll get another email from a different address in…

  6. Problems with Blocked Senders list and junk mail Filter Options.

    1. The Blocked Senders list puts email from Blocked Senders into my Junk Mail folder, rather than into my Deleted Files folder, due to the differing and changing subdomains that the spammers use.

    2. Outlook does not allow wildcard (*) to block all subdomains from each email domain.

    3. The filter options to block all subdomains from each domain don't work.

    4. How do I block all email with address in the PATTERN of a@a.b.c? Notice that a@a.b.c is a PATTERN, not an email address. An example of a particular spammer's address is holdon@holdon.luxuryzero.com which is in the PATTERN…

  8. Need to block a suffix - not changing domain name

Won't let me block .icu suffix. Lots of different prefixes - I can't block them all.

Need to be able to block anything from .icu to avoid large levels of spam.

We’re sorry people are experiencing issues here. We have gone back to the old behavior for the left-hand folder tree to always show since last year and we hope this has addressed most issues.

There are some reports in the comments about individual folders not showing up. In order for us to get to the bottom of the issue, please post as much detail as possible in your comments. What steps are you taking? Which browser/computer/operating system are you using?

    Thank you for your help.

  11. More spam filtering options

Add "from contains" condition to junk email filtering rules, rather than just the ability to add an email address. Spammers may use different/multiple email addresses but the same words in the shorthand name they use under "from."

  12. Automatically Block Entire Domain if 3 or More Emails Blocked w/Same Domain

Automatically block an entire email domain if a user has blocked three or more email addresses of the same domain.

(excluding major domains like Gmail, Live, Outlook, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc)

    Example:
    adfaqxamafe@uniquedomain.com
    iuyw@uniquedomain.com

If necessary, include a setting to disable/enable this rule.

  13. block partial domain name

More spam now avoids your detection and our blocking by variation in domain name. example:
    hzoUq1FOXgy@sujtcheshirecontractors.com.au
Hundreds of emails ending in "shirecontractors.com.au" but prepended with random letters. If your BLOCK DOMAIN just allowed a wildcard template like
    *shirecontractors.com.au
    or even *.au
we'd have far more control of where we accept mail from.

  15. Block option

Could you please add the option "Block" by default for every email received?
That's a very efficient way to fight spam

  16. Spammer using my e mail address AND Blocks not working and

    Scammer.

    1. Specific Issue

I keep getting a scammer using my e mail address to send bogus FEDEX e mails to me asking for my postal address details. How do i stop them?

    2. VERY IMPORTANT

Why do you only block specific e mail addresses and not the @***.co section as i am repeatedly getting the same spam e mails but with the sender just chaning part of the leading part of the e mail address e.g. 1 digit or character, as a result the blocks do not work

  17. Junk Folder Overflowing with Junk

I have 66 junk e-mails, it's too much to sift through in case a legitimate e-mail was put in my junk folder. Please: if it's 100% certified junk don't even put it in the junk folder. If the system isn't sure, then yeah go ahead and put it in there. You can be pretty certain e-mails like "russian beauty" and "rock hard *****" are junk - I don't even want to read them. Please fix this system it's a glaring issue.

  20. junkmail filtering

Junkmail filtering on outlook is ineffective to say the least.

Junkmail works in a few ways.
    - Robots scan the internet for email addresses.
    - Business collect your email for legitimate reasons (like receipts or alerts) but then continue to send unsolicited mail
    - by a robot flooding random emails with a readably sounding senders name, a randomised or misleading email address, misleading body content (usually duplicated from an existing reputable website, and requiring the user to interact by clicking a hyperlink or download an executable.

    Does this look familiar:
from LinkedIn - Confirm security breach. <linkedin23508xtPRO@LinkedInSecurityTeamTotallyRealfe080x.com.org.it>. BODY:…
