Rules for junk
PLEASE add rules for junk mail. I often get mail in my junk mail that is actually useful, so I look in there often. Lately, I've been getting SO MANY phishing emails from Save Yourself trying to "blackmail" me into sending them bitcoin, and it automatically goes to my junk folder, but I want anything with the words "Save Yourself" to be deleted so I don't have to look at it. Their emails contain an old password of mine, and their emails are all different, so even if I block one, I'll get another email from a different address in…

Obvious spam being sent to Inbox
Why is obvious spam not going to Junk or being blocked. 42 emails with the same "From" and "Subject" that arrived within 120 secs to my Inbox. These should have been filtered out and deleted or at the very least sent to Junk. Why weren't they?

Email from senders I have emailed are clearly not junk, yet end up in Junk folder
2 options --let me decide ONCE until I say otherwise that a sender is ok. Or for heaven's how hard can it be to write an algorithm that allows email from a sender to whom I have sent email??? My "Junk" folder often contains more than 50% mail that I want to receive -- and from repeated correspondents who I have designated as "not junk" repeatedly

[Suggestion]:Phishing emails titled "Netflix" or "Paypal"
So many phishing email titled "Netflix" or "Paypal" got through the filter. I have to manually report them every day. It's so easy to figure out they are fake because their email addresses are clearly from some random domains. Why they can't be automatically filtered out?

Problems with Blocked Senders list and junk mail Filter Options.
The Blocked Senders list puts email from Blocked Senders into my Junk Mail folder, rather than into my Deleted Files folder, due to the differing and changing subdomains that the spammers use.
Outlook does not allow wildcard (*) to block all subdomains from each email domain.
The filter options to block all subdomains from each domain don't work.
How do I block all email with address in the PATTERN of a@a.b.c? Notice that a@a.b.c is a PATTERN, not an email address. An example of a particular spammer's address is holdon@holdon.luxuryzero.com which is in the PATTERN of a@a.b.c (format).
Please…

Block Junk Mail by Sender Name
Please create an option to block senders by Name (not just by email address or domain). I receive 60 junk emails a day from different email addresses, but often with the same sender name. Blocking the email address and/or the domain isn't effective because the same junk senders have thousands of alternate email addresses. The sender name, however, is consistent (ie: Gadget Junkies, LeafFilter, Walk In Safety Tub, Tommy Chong, Splash Wines, Keranique, etc). Also, adding a Rule to block emails with those words in the subject line or body doesn't work because Rules aren't applied to junk mail (another…

I want to be able to write a rule for blocking junk emais.
I think if I could write a rule that allows me to block spam emails, I could block most of my spam emails in my junk email folder. It is this or Outlook needs to quit allowing spam emails into my account. I want to block all emails not on my safe senders' list.

Too much obvious spam in junk folder
Too much obvious spam in junk folder, making it difficult to spot genuine emails. This has only started happening again recently. Revise incoming spam filters, something has gone horribly wrong.

[Suggestion]:AI to identify SPAM/Phishing
Please, introduce some basic AI to detect spam and phishing email. I have blocked emails, marked spam, marked phishing, but i keep getting the same spam email with different addresses every single time. Why does this keep happening?

blocking and reporting phishing in one step
It seems you can either block spam or report it as phishing, but not block and report all at the same time. It would be more effective if you could do both at once.

Automatically block sender and ip when message is marked Phishing
Microsoft's software engineers are smart enough to make this simple line of code happen - Automatically block sender and ip when message is marked Phishing, so that users' junk boxes don't get unmanageable by the quantity of junk that gets through. The time it takes to look up the sender data, copy the ip and paste it into the blocked sender panel just gets too long when you are dealing with 20+ junk messages at a time.

Junk e-mail: block e-mail addresses using wildcards (eg *@*.can
Junk e-mail: why can't you allow the user to block e-mails using a wildcard and only part of the e-mail address? I receive, EVERY DAY, emails from pharmacy<something>.can and I want to block @.can instead of wasting my time to block every single instance, every single day
925 votesThanks for your feedback! Sorry to hear that you are having these problems with blocking senders.
Our junk / spam team is looking into this suggestion, and we should have an update in the next month or two.

Block spammails alltogether, don't put them in a spambox, and do NOT filter on reputations, but block spam domains and anonymus senders.
I want ypu to STOP filtering spam mails on their reputation but block them as soon as we report them. Also STOP whitelisting Google ad their mail- and cloud servers are full of spammers, abusing Gmail, Google Forms and Google Cloud web apps to send their spam mails Also block anonymous senders or reject their mails, as spammers mostly use anonymus, spoofed e-mailaddresses. Give us beck the old, better Hotmail spam filter!!!!
