Notes in Contacts

It is not possible to go trough All contacts and add one or multiple contacts to a contact list. Only in the list it is possible to lookup people an add them. This is not very practical and people which should be added are forgotten.

As much as the e-mail client beta version is good, so much the contact manager "People" is really bad.

If you want to classify your contacts in subdirectories to find them quickly, you need to have a contact card with the same name in the "Contact" folder and use the "clean contact" function to link the 2 cards. Otherwise, the contcts are not syncronized on your smartphone.
Why keep it simple when Microsoft can get complicated ...

Missing! All contacts/people from F-Z

When sending an email to a new contact, I used to be asked "save to contacts" and now there is nowhere to save a new email address to contacts!!!
New hotmail is not as good as the old one as full of "categories/trivia" you would never want and unnecessary infantile options

Many of my contacts are businesses. Adding a new business contact requires too many click and select. The drop down box of previous is much more helpful.

When I search for someone in Outlook People or in the To field of a new e-mail message in Outlook Mail (or even the search bar of Outlook Calendar), a number of contacts/e-mail addresses appear I do not know:

Where do they come from and how can I avoid these names to appear?

Suggested contacts are no longer editable in the people tab. It would be nice to either edit them, or disable the suggested contacts list altogether.

Please add an option to display contacts' nicknames (if entered) in the contact list instead of their full names, sort the contact list by nicknames, and display contacts whose nickname matches a search query in the search results.

Unable to import contacts to Outlook 365 from Outlook app in the computer. Tried CSV and PST files, nothing works. There seem to be a mismatch in formats.

Facility to check which contact lists a contact is on from that contact's entry in People. Managing Contacts in Classic had this feature. There was an icon to click on to see which lists an individual contact belonged to. This icon has gone in Beta version. Now I have to search through every contact list to see who is on or not. Very tedious and a waste of my time!

There are two ghost folders in my account that I cannot delete. LinkedIn Contacts and Google Contacts appear in my Outlook file, but don't show on Outlook.com (without a IE6 workaround). How can I get these folders out of there?

This is a big help so the user doesn't need to check and update all the group contact where the contact is included.

I can't differentiate between mobile, work, home, etc. when saving a new contacts email addresses and phone numbers.

If a contact has populated company name and email address fields but empty first name and last name fields, the email address is displayed in the contact list instead of the company name.

Please fix.

Perhaps a development might help
It would be good to be able to create a duplicate list that can then be slightly changed in order to create a new list.

Example - if you have a list of 100 contacts and wish to create a new list for just 85 of those people, it would be easier to duplicate the first list, remove 15 people and create new list.
Much easier than making a brand new list of 85 people!!!!

Import of people and contacts needs to indicate status and what contacts are being processed.

In my search there are duplicate contacts. Ex: Uber. As a suggestion of contacts I can not delete.
