  2. What can I do to keep wanted email from being blocked

Outlook continues to filter legitimate mail into the "junk" folder along with the junk mail. This alone is not a serious problem, but Outlook regularly blocks some email from getting through that I want -- such as subscriptions to Mauldin Economics and Barnes & Noble that are in my address book. What can I do to keep wanted email from being blocked?

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate that you took the time to write to us.

You might enjoy the new Outlook experience more with a few changes to your settings, which you can find by clicking the gear icon. Try changing the setting for Conversation view to Off, changing the setting for Reading pane to Hide, and changing the setting for Attachment preview to Off.

We’re always interested in new ideas, but we need some more specific feedback to fix the problem for you. If you have more detailed suggestions, please update your idea or add a new one.

  4. For tech support

    Hi,

Please could you forward this to technical support and ask them to contact me via email or is that possible? I updated security info to make my account more secure because of my personal information and identity use. How do you protect personal information at outlook.com? Is updating security info and changing password ok or do I need to do more things to protect my account? Could you please take good care of my personal information, my identity and content at my outlook.com. Thank you. This is not a public or forum topic this is private message for Microsoft…

  13. Mail > Subscription

Hotmail/Outlook- Mail > Subscriptions > I can not delete newsletters I did not subscribe to
Under my settings>mail>subscriptions - there is a ton of newsletters/junk email/spam that I never added and can not delete. I don't know how they got there and how can i remove them.

    Image

No matter what I've tried to delete these it doesn't work - spammers latched themselves this way?

We’ve finished the development work and will be rolling out a new version of the subscription manager over the next few weeks!

You may see that your subscriptions are deleted and the subscription manager is reset. We’re doing this so that we can purge all of the incorrect subscriptions from your list.

    Hey all,

You can reach Outlook.com support by going to the Help pane (the ? icon in the header) and searching for solutions to your problem. If the solutions provided do not solve your problem, you can click “Yes” to “Still need help?” on the bottom. Then you’ll have the option to contact a support agent.
