  1. Double clicking on the "Junk Email" folder should bring the menu buttons on top to the way they were before.

    Double clicking on the "Junk Email" folder should bring the menu buttons on top to the way they were before. In the old version, if you were checking your "Junk Email" folder to see if there was something in there that is hot junk, would change the top menu "Empty folder" button to just the "Delete" button, which it should since you now have either a selected or open mail.     outlook is very frustrating to use - very. Your ad covering up list of folders is truly annoying.

    You might enjoy the new Outlook experience more with a few changes to your settings, which you can find by clicking the gear icon. Try changing the setting for Conversation view to Off, changing the setting for Reading pane to Hide, and changing the setting for Attachment preview to Off.

    We’re always interested in new ideas, but we need some more specific feedback to fix the problem for you. If you have more detailed suggestions, please update your idea or add a new one.

  4. Good change

    I just want to say thank you for hiring somebody with a brain. the feature with the junk mail blocking is so nice and easy now. No more nonsense, two steps I am done. I would create another link though to move the email straight into the folder (for create a rule) that the rule was created for. Right now after I created the rule to organize my email, I still have to manually move it myself. Thats a little bit of a pain in the butt. Sooooo brainy can you fix that too lol.

  5. Outlook does not resize properly

    Outlook does not resize properly - I move between a laptop docking station with two screens (plus the laptop screen) and just the laptop screen when at meetings. Outlook (O365 subscription) on Edge resizes properly to the reduced laptop screen size when in meetings, but when I redock the laptop and am back on the 22" monitors, the Outlook screen is still at the lower-resolution size and does not work correctly. I have to click on the Edge 'intermediate' screen size (Restore Down) and then back to Maximize in order for Outlook to correctly resize and the Outlook screen to…

  6. Useless tags on emails

    The tags on parts of an email are very distracting, and don't go away as you
    go to a different email. they are useless.

  7. Items of the left sidebar keeps changing the order

    Don't unpin items of the sidebar like Inbox, Archived, Drafts etc. They keep changing the order frequently and this affects the usability in a negative way. If the user mark any items with star, don't let automatically unmark it.

  8. Organizing Folders

    Why can't you make a subfolder a regular folder without making it a favorite? Your fix of making a new folder and transferring all the emails doesn't work, it there are too many emails it isn't allowed

  9. Deleting mail

    Sometimes selecting mail to delete will allow me to simply delete. Other times, I get a popup. What is going on?

    This is very inconsistent. That is, sometimes I do not get a popup and my delete happens as desired. Other times I do get a popup. I'm sure there is some pattern that I have not yet learned, but when I click "Delete" I don't need a popup asking me if I am sure!!!

  12. Shortcut for onedrive file.

    Shortcut for frequently edited one drive file in outlook, I frequently edit one file on one drive, but each time i have to open one drive for this. Please make way to pin it on my outlook dashboard.

  14. Selecting Multiple Emails From a Folder is Infuriating.

    I really despise how large the button to read an email is, but the button to select it is so small. When I want to delete a lot of email at once, I don't want to worry about accidentally clicking above the circle to select the email. When you consider the fact that the button shrinks when you hover over it, I think this is a cowardly tactic on your part to get us to open more emails.

  16. Email from field in error.

    When I send an email I still get "Maersk Line" in the from field of the email, that doesn't seem to me that would be to hard to fix. XXXXX@msn.com.

  17. Misc

    When I try to reply, the cursor doesn't seem to go to correct location. When I click on email, a new popup screen appears on the upper left hand corner of screen which is not convenient to read. Please, doesn't anyone check the new versions with the average user before publishing?

  18. Internet Explorer 11, in Outlook.Live not showing "Account Button", on free account.

    Tried to use Outlook.com for Internet Explorer 11 with my free account, and about 2 days ago, the "Account" button is now gone, There is no way to log out now. It is there for the pay version, but when I log into my free account, I have to delete all my passwords from Explorer to get logged out from Outlook. It works fine on Google Chrome, just not on Internet Explorer 11, with the free account, very odd.

    This is VERY obnoxious!!!!!
    I read an email, then I want to flag it (only have red option, which sucks). Once I open an email, and decide I want to put a flag on it, I get an error message, that I can't flag it, since it had been opened/read. Then I have to delete about 10 messages, before Outlook "forgets" that rule, and then I can go back and flag it. A decade of more ago, We could flag emails after we opened them, and this horrible "rule" makes me angry every time I use Outlook. And, it is…

  20. Bug with "Move all messages from"

    Move all messages from function doesn't properly update after using it once. The email used for the move is always the last one used. For example, if you move all "Pizza Hut" emails to a certain folder, and then you try to move all "Walmart" emails it will still be doing the opperation on emails from Pizza Hut. If you cancel the operation and try again it will then be "Walmart", even if you then selected a different email.
