Terms of Service
For simple people, Rethinking Terms of Service and Privacy Statement
My name is Matthew M (yes, real name). :) I live in a ranch house in South Dakota. In our world today, who doesn't use an email address, or the internet, to receive a service as a consumer? I am concerned with the way companies -online in particular- go about the topic of- user terms of service and privacy agreement. I am hope my concern is shown to be genuine, from the heart, and with compassion :) I recently posted to Amazon. But it is equally applicable to outlook/Microsoft, so,…

Tab Icon changes from mails
Emails from Lieferando.de change the icon from Outlook in the Tab. (I use Firefox 65.0.1) That is confusing, if my email tab is now a food delivery tab ;)
Could also happen from other mails, but I saw it only from "Lieferando.de".0 votes -
User Interface - Remove dynamically shifting buttons
Example#1:
Select an Email inside your inbox. It says "Delete" in the top Button bar. As soon as you select the second Item, die Delete Button shifts to the left because the "Answer" Button disappears.Example#2:
You have 2 Emails in your inbox. Select the first one and the Button says "Delete". Select the second one and the Description switches to "Clear Folder" and again, moves the Button to the left.I get it, its context sensitive. But having the positions of UI Elements that remain present shift and change has never been a good design. If you frequently use…

Printing from Excel online
Your excel online print option doesn't work as well as it did last week. The default paper size is different, and even when this is corrected, the scaling option puts information outside of my printer margins, whereas it did not before.

Can't enter outlook after some time
When I don't log out from outlook.com and get back after a few hours or a day or two, I get a page "500 Malformed request". Current way of solving the problem is to clear session cookies through the console. This is getting a bit annoying, since I have to do it every time.
I'm using the latest version on Firefox.

Pinned items list confusing
Pinned items - why on earth do you now present these differently when pinned??? Now don't even show sender. Surely if there is an optimum or good presentation then use it all the time? List could do with compressing to get more items in view - surprise, surprise as it used to be!

Pale and thin - please give up doing "modern" design. It hurts.
The UI is very low contrast. Strains my eyes to read main text, such as folder list or subjects of messages that are not new.
Not everybody has 3x 24" OLED screens to complain about "too much contrast". The "too much contrast" needs to be used in moderation. Most of the people can just reduce brightness.0 votes -

Mobile Device List Needs Details
It would be extremely helpful to provide some way of distinguishing devices in the Mobile Device List. As it is currently presented, there is no way to determine if a device listed is a duplicate of another (because it picked up a different session/has an unexpired session/is a defunct device) or if there are shenanigans afoot. Maybe the IP/general location and Last Seen?

Allow users to resize translator window
Currently, the translator window cannot be resized which makes it "harder" to read the translated mail side-by-side with the original.
