Old Colors that pop out to you
All-Day events no longer pop out with the highlighted colors - those are my monthly reminders and recurring dates that NEED to stand out to me. If anything, the day-to-day appointments and schedule COULD be unhighlighted.
7 votesThank you for your feedback! We have just released an option to switch to more saturated calendar colors in the new Outlook.
If you would like to try out this experience, please click on the gear icon in the top right of your calendar module to access your settings, and toggle “Bold event colors”.

-It's not possible to enter details (pictures, informations, ...)in a calendar entry because this field is missing.
-It would be nice to move and/or copy a calendar entry to another calendar

edit past calendar events and move events to edit
Consider adding back the ability to edit past calendar events and "moving" the past event to a new future date. This made it super easy to reschedule event that didn't happen or one in which you just want to keep moving forward.

I share a calendar across the family for each member, and I want to be able to put calendar entries on their calendar
I would like to create calendar entries on my kids calendars (like I can now with the old interface). I'm using Edge on Win 10, and I do not see a 'calendar' selection. This is required for me to use this calendar … please add this back!

Calender
Your new calendar does not allow users to manually change repetition dates. Now you can only choose ever day, every week, every month, or every year. I have items that occurring every two weeks I'd like to add to my calendar (or somethings every three weeks) but you offer no way to do that.
My suggestion is if you're trying to improve something... you add better functions, not take functions away from the old version. Seems like you're going backwards

Not enough features to fast edit complete entry in calendar
need more buttons to fast open a complete DETAIL edit form for entries in calendar. Outlook Beta is now more uncomfortable in this point as before.

Bring Calendar appointment scheduling tools into Beta
Allow the scheduling settings from the old Calendar to appear in the Beta, e.g. 'every 3 weeks' or 'every 2nd Thursday' are not possible in Beta;
Beta options are 'every day/week/month/year' and that's it. I have to switch back to the old system to do anything else e.g. a fortnightly appointment.

Erinnerung Termin
In the beta Version it is not possible to create a individual reminder for a meeting / apponintment. You just can set the reminder for some steps. In the normal Version you can set a reminder more individual. It would be helpful, when it is possible to get the choise for the reminder like now in the beta when you create the appointment with normal settings, and additional it would be very good if you can set the reminder mor exactly in the appointment.

Viewing Calendar Appointments
I want to see category colours as on the old calendar as this helps me to quickly identify the difference between essential and non essential appointments. I also want to be able to see all appointments scheduled in the weekly/monthly view, not just the first appointment input for a particular day. It's deceptive when only one appointment shows up.
4 votesThank you for your feedback! The deployment for categories and seeing all appointments in the Outlook.com beta is now complete. If you refresh, you should be able to see the experience.
