The new Outlook.com
We have partnered with UserVoice, a third-party service, to collect feedback from you and other Outlook users. Your use of the portal and your submission is subject to the UserVoice Terms of Service & Privacy Policy, including the license terms. Please do not send any novel or patentable ideas, copyrighted materials, samples or demos for which you do not want to grant a license to Microsoft.
This is the forum where you can give us feedback about the new experiences in Outlook.com.
Please vote on ideas you like. If you have a new idea that hasn’t been submitted by anyone else, submit it. If you have many ideas, submit them separately. This will help us decide what to build next.
We’ll reply to top issues, and will consider other suggestions as well. Thanks for trying the beta!

Calendar is not syncing properly with my Outlook Calendar on my desktop computer and my phone.
Get it to work properly! The events show up in the old version, but when I switch to beta some events go away and I'm not able to create new events.

none of my appointments in any of my calendars are visible in chrome
Ok, so now none of my appointments in any of my calendars are visible in chrome. All day events are visible, but nothing else.

Modify weather locations
I cannot add nor remove weather locations in the calendar, I must switch to non-beta version to do that. Why?
42 votesWe’re working on bringing the ability to change weather locations to the beta experience. Thanks for the feedback!

Set email reminders on events
Please restore email reminder functionality to calendar! I rely on this to keep track of my schedule and I'm now using Google calendar because I can't get this Outlook.com beta to send me email reminders.

Add More Calendar Charms
I would love to have a much wider selection of charms to choose from in the calendar. The tooth is great for my dentist appointment, but how about scissors for hair appointments? A selection of sports would really help too.
In fact, the 34 choices in the beta do not even include all of the choices from the production calendar (e.g. soccer).

Expand Calendar Color Choices
The selection of colors for calendars is very limited, and the 9 choices given have several that look very similar. I would love more choices, or at least choices that are more distinct from each other.
142 votesThank you for your feedback on the beta! We’re working on expanding the number of calendar color choices.

Today list on calendar month view missing
Love the email section
When using the beta calenadar, I no longer have today's calendar items on the right hand side on the month view.
I prefer month view and to see today's list.
115 votesWe’re working on bringing the agenda list in month view to the beta experience. Thanks for the feedback!

Edit Appointments
Unable to edit or change previously created appointments. It is very important to edit previous appointments as circumstances often change that warrants editing of appointments.

Add/Edit Entries in Birthday Calendar
With Outlook.com beta it appears I can no longer create new entries in the Birthday Calendar.
Also, I can no longer edit existing entries in the Birthday Calendar to change the Reminder.
If I leave the beta, I can again add new entries to the Birthday Calendar and edit existing entries to modify the reminders.
Please bring this functionality to the Calendar beta.78 votes -

Icons on left panel
The five or so icons (mail, calendar, contacts, etc.) are small and horizontal at the bottom on the alpha version but larger and vertical on the beta version - please can they be smaller and with the option of being horizontal (or vertical if the user wishes to move/hide them). Thanks.

Enable connecting and syncing with Google calendar
Merge with calendars from other providers (e.g. Google)
I would like to link my Google Calendars also and get an overview on all my Events in the same view.54 votes -
windows 10 calendar app
Shouldn't my outlook.com calendar basically mirror my calendar on Windows 10? If I'm signed in under my Microsoft account this stuff should be identical across platforms.

Beta doesn't always show/support 'Remove series from calendar' option for accepting remove/cancel of calendar items
In Beta, when I receive cancellation of a previously accepted calendar appointment from someone else, although messages list shows a cancel calendar icon when I actually view the message in main reading pane there is no button or option to remove that appointment from my calendar in Beta, whereas same messages work and display expected 'Remove series from calendar' button that I can click to perform expected action.

Don't delete meeting invitations
I received a meeting invitation with an attached .ics file. The message contained options to accept or decline the invitation. I accepted, and the message disappeared. I subsequently found it in the Deleted items folder. If this is intentional, it's a very strange idea and I would hope it won't happen again.
