  1. seting work hours for graves in calendar

We work night shift and graves, outlook will not let me schedule Our shifts, 4:30 PM to 4:.30 AM. Pop up box says, "The date you entered occurs before the start date". I get it. But there is not even an option for it to be set from 4:30PM to Midnight, than Midnight to 4:30 AM. I'm here for the whole shift and if I don't change it on the calendar it gives the false impression of when I am and when I am not available. Plus getting scheduled for a meeting when I should be sleeping is a pain!!

  2. Different work hours for different days of the week

Lots of people work hours that differ during the week. There is no way to program these hours. I want to be able to set different hours available for different days. I work M-Thurs 7-4:30, and Friday 7-11. However, you can't show differing work time for your work days in the calendar and it screws up scheduling, especially when other people try to schedule things during that time, and I don't want to have to set up appointments to occur every single week to bock that time out. Also, if there is a week where I will be late a…

  3. General Settings and Calendar Settings are not saving.

When I change settings of calendar like changing the weekends or work hour, etc. and save changes. It doesn't apply. Actually after a refresh all settings get back to default. I tried on different browsers like Firefox, Edge and Chrome. Please fix it.

  4. New feedback from Outlook.com (React)

Recurring appointment lacks flexibility. In the old UI, I can make a repeat every other week. In the new UI, I can't.

  6. Collapse unused hours from midnight to 8 am

In the (beta) calendar, in the week-view, the first hours of the day (say, from midnight to 8 am) are 99% of the time un-used. But they do take up space. Is it possible to build a method to collapse these hours? For example: Similar to the way you can collapse rows in MS Excel...

  7. Outlook.com beta doesn't allow deletion of birthday event, throws error.

Outlook.com beta calendar doesn't allow deletion of calendar event, throws error.

I was receiving a Birthday calendar event for a person I do not know, with the last name of Franks. He was an older man holding a salmon. I tried to delete the entire series of the even in Outlook.com beta within my Chrome web browser and received an error. I then tried to delete it as a single event, and still got the error. I switched back to non-Beta program calendar and was able to successfully delete the entire event series. How I got a birthday event on…

need a better way to show a given day's events from the month view, ie click on a day in the month view and have the selected day's events appear on the right hand side of the calendar in a column in detail

  10. New feedback from Outlook.com (React)

I'm so glad you've partnered with yet another level of indirection that prevents my suggestions from reaching the engineers at Microsoft responsible for getting Outlook Calendars working to even a fraction of what is appropriate for today's standards. That said, I simply wanted to drag a .ics event file to my calendar and have it appear. Better yet I wanted an obvious way to import the event to the calendar.

  12. New feedback from Outlook.com (React)

When entering calendar dates, I should be able to type 12p and have it understand that as "12:00 PM", however, it doesn't. It also doesn't understand 12 pm, but is does understand 12:00 pm, which only saves a press of the shift key, so is rather pointless.

  15. New feedback from Outlook.com (React)

Using the Outlook Beta version, when I try to edit a Calendar appointment, I can't figure out how to edit all of the details of the appointment. I have to exit the beta and use the current version to properly edit the item.

I don't like the changes at all! The email and calendar are hard to read and use. The calendar doesn't allow for recurrent events. Why change something that is working? llehocky@hotmail.com

  18. You have screwed up the usability of Outlook.

You can't sync the calendar to your phone.

There is no click button to send/receive emails. This is a simple thing you have screwed up.

You have even screwed up the way people can give feedback. This is a horrible interface. Clunky, and is visually "We don't really give a **** if you don't like the new Outlook!" I will be looking closer at using Google in the very near future as more corporations are moving away from your offerings.

  19. CalDAV

I want to synchronize with other calendar services.
Outlook.com will not be the main calendar service for me, if cannot synchronize. Do not you think so?
