  3. Emails in RULES sent to JUNK folder, repeatedly.

    If an email has a rule, "move the email to a folder" why does the JUNK filter continuously dump them into the junk folder? How much code does it take to "check the rules" before "engaging junk engine?"

  5. Send blocked emails straight to deleted items instead of to junk mail folder

    Send blocked emails straight to deleted items instead of to junk mail folder. There are 2 options, to mark as junk or to block, yet both put the emails from that domain or sender into the junk folder. It makes no sense to have 2 different options that do the same. If something is blocked, it shouldn't ever appear in junk mail or the inbox.

  6. Block Sender

    You marked "completed" the "Block Sender" item that had over 1100 votes and many more comments. The solution you gave does not work when the email is already in the "Junk" email folder. Right clicking on items in the "Junk" folder opens the email. It does bring up the "Block" function, but still opens the email. Again, your solution addresses emails that are not already in the "Junk" folder. Please reopen this issue and give us a way to block emails without having to open them if they are already in the Junk folder based on your spam criteria. This…

  7. Account recovery

    Please expand the account recovery form to include more questions, & thus more chance to recover an old account. Questions like "(apprimately) when was the account made", "(appr.) when did you last login", "from which email accounts did you receive emails" and "to which accounts was your email linked" would be helpful. I know the last two are less reliable, but maybe make them 'weigh' less importance to compensate. And maybe allow for a 5~10% window on the "when" questions if theyre more than 2 months ago.
    Lastly, it would be really nice if it were possible to speak to…

  8. No way to sign-out, no Help icon in Outlook.com (even after a couple of months)

    Sign-out and Help cannot be accessed in Outlook.com website in Mail and Calendar, except under People. Is this a bug? How do I sign out of Outlook.com?

  9. Hate where snoozed is located

    Why did you put the snoozed option where you did? Could you put it somewhere else? I've been using hotmail for over 20 years and now I have to get used to snooze being where mark unread is and it's driving me nuts especially if I'm not fast enough to get past the snooze it automatically brings up the whole snooze ****!

  10. Recover deleted outlook.com aliases

    Users should have a period of time - a week would be enough for many people - to undelete aliases that were deleted from accounts (often by kids on xbox.) When an account is closed, users have 60 days to change their mind - they should have a similar option when aliases are deleted.

  12. Process customers hotmail rules before built-in junk mail filters

    This has been suggested, but has not been implemented. It's fine that you want to minimize junk by filtering it out to the junk folder, but this also prevents user rules from being effective. I want to DELETE any/all emails with keywords KETO or CBD. When you move them to the JUNK folder, it precludes my ability to delete. Don't override user's rules just because you process them first. Process user's rules, and if they aren't processed, THEN you can apply your built-in filters. PLEASE ACT ON THIS QUICKLY. It has been suggested long ago and is about time to…

  13. "Too Many Redirects" message and I must shut down and restart my computer

    I keep getting the message "Too many redirects" when I try to exit the Microsoft Spam Fighters email after confirming my selection, so I have to shut down and restart my computer to be able to get back into my emails. This will cause me to no longer take the time to respond to the Spam Fighters emails." Thought you'd like to know about this error. I hope you will fix this and let us know that it is fixed, so I can once again give you feedback on what is and isn't spam.

  14. Add Method Of Participation for Meetings

    Have Outlook give the option when Accepting a meeting, if they will be attending in person. I am always needing to know how much catering to order, how big of a room is needed, etc. If when you get the meeting invite you could choose "Accept", then "Attending In Person" , that would be incredibly helpful!

  15. Include the use of emojies in rules

    Give me the ability to use emojis within rules in all conditions and instances. Thees scammers have become creative; using emojis to generate an unlimited supply of phishing email addresses. I'd like to move every email from every email address (using emojis) to my "deleted" folder

    Junk/Spam mail filter/notifications email causing too many redirects.

    I'm not sure what happened, but someone changed the code that whenever I get the Microsoft email asking if a particular email is junk mail or not, after you respond, several things happen (or don't happen):

    1) it doesn't automatically delete that email anymore

    2) In Firefox, it will open up a new tab, but when you click on "close", it doesn't close the tab.

    3) In Google Chrome and Firefox now, after you select whether the email is junk mail or not, Outlook.com will break and produce an error message:

  18. Show/Hide Email Addresses

    Make on option to show/hide the sender's full email address below their name without having to open the message.

    Add a toggle switch that will show/hide the full email addresses. Having to mouse-over a contact and wait a second or two to view the alt text is no good.

  19. [Urgent] Add the ability to 'Mark as phishing' without opening emails

    Add the ability to 'Mark as phishing' without having to view the email, also add the option to 'Mark as phishing' on the windows 10 mail client which doesn't appear to have the option at all (as it is meant to be for the common good).

    It is really annoying that you have to open an email you already know is fake just to report it and potentially runs the risks of some technologies like web beacons harvesting information.

  20. Phishing Flag Increases Junk E-mail

    Junk e-mail increases after I flag items as phishing scams. Yesterday I flagged a few e-mails as phishing scams and today I have about 30 new spam e-mails.
