Bring back the Skype integration
The Skype ias apparently gone from Outlook.com beta, as the Skype button near the Settings cog icon is nowhere to be found. I think many users didn't like the integration (there was no way to completely disable it) but it still was a nice feature for Skype users.
Update January 2018:
Skype is back! :)
More improvements to the Skype integration will come in the future, but for now, please enjoy the upgraded Skype chat experience!
P.S.: If you wish to mute notifications, you can do so in the Settings panel under General > Skype > Notifications.

Why not keep that upper right button to open Skype(web version)? I love that to use Skype simply.

The beta version need the Skype, same old version. That I can access on the outlook
put the messanger / skype list of online contacts back on the right of the email page
I love the skype chat function pops up on the side. now i need to open a brand new skype screen, so i can't check my email at the same time.
I would like the option to switch off Skype, or at least stay invisible when I open Hotmail again. It seems the default is to show me online, even if I have made myself invisible in the previous session.
It is really annoying to check emails and be bothered by people messaging me. I hate it!!!
CAn't figure out how to put skype in the tabs of the email box. Like in the non beta version.
É interessante deixar o Skype também incorporado no e-mail, como na versão atual. Assim podemos usar o chat do Skype e ter acesso a lista de amigos e conversas diretamente no Outlook.
I am tried new (beta) email interface.
It is good, but please return back Skype side panel.
Having Skype in web interface of email is really good idea.
I was not able to find the online chat in the Beta thats why switched back to the old version
In current Office 365 view, you have Skype for Business button visible and available, in beta version, I didn't have it and couldn't find it in navigation pane. I'd recommend to really have it easily located, because most of people using office for work, would find it handy and useful.
I can't find the skype for outlook.com anymore...
pongan skype a la mano

Keep the Skype messenger as it was before in the right side.
Previously the skype and mail was on th esame window..but now when we want skype it directes user to new window.
I think this should be changed.. The skype messenger has to be on th esame window and mails as well! and it was before.
User doesn't like when he/she has to switch to another tab for mails and skype.
konuşma pencerem yok. olmadı. ve skype de insanları kolay ekleyemiyoruz. messenger kat kat güzeldi
Gostei! poderia continuar o ícone do Skype ao lado, fica mais pratico.

I did not like the Skype integration before because if I had my Outlook open and Skype open as well, incoming calls would ring in both places and cause lots of confusion. Answering the call on Skype wouldn't stop it from continuing to ring in Outlook. In addition, the functionality of the Skype integration was very spotty and limited, making the whole thing very frustrating instead of helpful. I vote NO on Skype integration unless there is an easy way to opt out or disable it in Outlook.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't force Skype into outlook.com. Many users don't want to deal with Skype interruptions during email. We don't want to have to turn it off/invisible each time also.
I was about to switch away from outlook.com but this beta was released just in time, I've very happy with an ad-free email option without Skype.
I like to use Skype, but on my terms. If you bring it back, please consider allowing people to completely disable it without having to repeatedly turn it off.
