Focused and Other - Get Rid Of!
I want one inbox - I didn't ask for two. The other and focused options are so screwed up and annoying; I cannot even imagine why this was done. Most of the time I am getting focused emails in my other and other emails in my focused. How do your algorithms even sort or decide which is which? And why are you deciding? It is my inbox!

I don't like Beta & would like to go back to Classic option, is that possible? Please explain how to do that? I never wanted Beta in the first place. Must have hit it by misake.
When I am sending or forwarding an email and hover over my "in,cc, or bb" box it only brings up my contacts up to letter D, can't access all of my contacts to pick who I want to send email to...how do I correct this? Likewise when I send out an email using "BB" option, I can't see who I sent it to...shows up…76 votes -
4 column layout is not good for reading email content.
the screen is separated into 4 columns: folder list, email subject list, email content and ads. I do not mind ads but it takes a huge potion of screen if 4 columns!
I can't read the email content in such a small column area!
No one write an email that expected people read in column!721 votes -
Do not like
Can't find things, not enough room to see entire message without having to scroll or close other menus/options.

the look and feel
The look and feel is just terrible. There is way too much going on. I would like to keep it simple just like with the current UI. If this beta doesnt change and goes to production I am definitely switching over to gmail

Keep Notes Section In Calendar Event
When making a calendar event in the current Outlook.com there is a section to add notes. This is missing in the Beta Calendar. Notes are visible in the Beta from entries made in the current Outlook.com Calendar but you are unable to edit them. I use the notes section to remind me of details about calendar events. The loss of this option would force me to use a different Calendar app/service.

Unusable, Stop trying to "Fix" what is not broken or make it into something it is not. Do what you do well - EMAIL
Stop trying to "Improve" something that is not broken! This is terrible. Keep it simple! That was what was so great about the original Hotmail to begin with! This is not a social media service this is and has been my primary email for a very long time. Do what you do best with this service - E-MAIL. Don't try to make this into something it is not. This beta is too cluttered and unreadable on smaller laptops and even on larger ones is still difficult to use. I turned it off after trying to read one email

add attendee
There is no way to add someone to a meeting in the edit menu. Seriously?!?

Keep it simple.
Email isn't for emojis & bright colors. Keep it clean and simple. There's too much noise everywhere else in the world.
I use my personal email to communicate with friends and family. I don't need to be entertained and over stimulated by gimmicks. I just want to send a message and easily find the ones I've received.

categories with colors in calendar
I liked the previous feature of having categories with different colors in the calendar. Having colors makes it easier for me to know what should be done, compared to charms. eg have a red category for deadlines and a green for completed. that way i briefly scan my calendar page and i know all the information i need.

bad layout
This new layout is really unclear.
You cant tell the difference of a button or an image.
The old layout was nice because there was a better summary of folders, and a better sight on how to forward or respond to emails. Just arrows to "respond or forward" is not clear. Please go back to the old layout!!!

adverts
Adverts in the list of emails? A terrible idea - so bad I would actually change email provider to get away from it. If you want me to take my email seriously do not put adverts in what looks like a new mail spot so I click on it by mistake.

I like to hover over junkmail emails to see the email address to see if it is spam or legit - I cant do that on the new version.

I don't like this 'conversation' style email replies
It's difficult to see whether its a real email chain or not, I don't know if I reply will the previous email be attached?
Some things on the interface seem to be changed for the sake of it, why not just make the entire interface customisible to what the user wants and let them choose the best of what they see, rather than changing the whole thing and lumping it on us?

pop out email
it would be great if you could pop out the email; the real estate is such it makes it difficult to quickly scroll thru and read email

Search calendar feature needed
We would like to search the calendar for events like we can for emails
193 votesThank you for your feedback on the Outlook.com beta! We are working on calendar search. It’ll be added to the beta experience in the future.

Too complicated, ad area on the right too huge, interrupts the reading, ad area not suitable on right for this format.
