Inbox Rules need to allow for all kinds of triggers and actions
Example: Mail rules currently cannot forward mail.
I need to be able to do more than move to a folder.
Thanks for trying the Outlook.com beta! We’re glad to inform that we’ve released an update for inbox rules that allow for all sorts of combinations in settings.
To create an advanced rule, either:
1) Right-click on an email
2) Click “Create rule”
3) Click “More options”
4) Create away!
1) Click the settings gear icon in the top right
2) Click “View full settings”
3) Click “Rules”
4) Click “Add new rule”
5) Create away!

Hello everyone, greetings from Guatemala. I'm starting to explore Beta, and I do not seem to find some functions quickly, the concept is well illustrated to a better tool. It takes vital aspects like "move or delete everything from the sender" to ensure the organization of the inbox, despite the rules (since they only work in the future).

It should be easy to create, set, and run rules for selected senders or messages.
Infinite Rules both for Folders and For Spam
IT seems like the filter rules have been removed in the beta. Unless I'm missing something. Please don't remove these
I do not see a way to create a rule or edit an existing rule.
Also, when I select to move a message, I only see some of my folder--only about three of them--and no way to see the other folders to select the folder I want to move the message to.
I would like to easily create a rule for filing emails into a folder of my choosing, like how the old outlook worked.
Please get the feature "create rules" back, it's so useful to unclutter the mailbox

It would be nice if there was a way to easily find the inbox rules again. I would love to be able to establish message forwarding again.

It used to be really easy to apply a rule right from move mail, please dont take it out, its really usefull!!
move to doesn't allow to set up an auto rule

Please make rules work with Connected Accounts also in this version. It worked flawlessly in Live and Hotmail and Outlook.com broke it and I've heard it was "By Design". Well the "Design" is horrible and any email that comes into the Inbox should be filtered under the "Inbox Rules" regardless of it if comes into an @outlook.com email address or from a personal or work email address setup by a connected account.

When you reinstate rules, PLEASE, please incorporate an import/export function for EACH OF the lists this time around.
The old system of just a web listbox was absurd in these times, difficult/impossible to manage

And please be sure to remember to include the connected accounts this time. x2 redesigns ago the rules would sort your email, then in the last redesign the developers forgot to sort connected account emails, and now this one doesn't even have rules.
There isn't Create Rule option in contextual menu

The possibility to self made rules for every overtaken e-mail adress is the most hardly missed and gone feature of the old outlook.com.
Now outlook has loosen his value for users.
Please bring the rules immediately back

Mail inbox is after 3 days offline a desaster of unreaded mails. Rules that helps to sort what is coming from the familyadress, from the friendsadresse, from the club and from the boss, are an absolutely must for staying in an overview. Nobody like to be fired because the only mail from boss was loosing in the waste of friends mails. Please let work this rules with collected mail adresses too.

BRING BACK RULES!!! It is ridiculous that I can no longer block emails matching specific criteria..

Outlook often filters important e-mail false positive as junk, even e-mails that I have rules set up to move them to certain folders.
I couldn't figure out how to create a rule for certain incoming messages, so I had to switch back.
Where is the create rules option in order to filters my emails. On this beta this option is gone? I need this function back Rush
