[Suggestion]:Verifying Account
Verifying an outlook account is impossible with the the mouse and cheese thing. Why are MS using the alternative email address I entered in the first instance. I am unable to use the phone option as out of signal range.

Allow "Like"ing emails
Many emails that land in my inbox do not require me to respond. However, the sender may still want to know how well the content of his email is received by me and other recipients.
The visibility on no. of likes on an email can be kept private to the sender in the MVP. The recipients need only to see a "Like" icon toggle with two states - "Liked already" and "Yet to be liked".16 votes -
Recover deleted outlook.com aliases
Users should have a period of time - a week would be enough for many people - to undelete aliases that were deleted from accounts (often by kids on xbox.) When an account is closed, users have 60 days to change their mind - they should have a similar option when aliases are deleted.
For an example of the problem this will solve, see this thread, https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/my-hotmail-account-was-deleted-while-my-son-was/2250b864-3712-4813-b736-e896e8146c25

New design with reading emails
With this new design when I read my emails in Inbox and click on the Inbox to check other emails it puts me on top (newest or oldest depending on my sorting preference) of my emails again. It is so annoying and not user friendly. With old desing was easier to check and read old emails because when I clicked on the Inbox it put me back to the email list with curzor on the read email. Was much easier to search for old emails and read them. Could you please change to old design back?

Prompting text
Stop it. The suggestions for text to speed up typing emails is unnecessary and annoying. It is always wrong. And a constant distraction.

Provide a means of easily disabling predictive text.
There should be an easy option for disabling predictive text while typing an e-mail. The current system is like having a drunk, or a child 'helping' you by typing rubbish ahead of your text. I know what I mean to write and do not need help, thank you. The option should be on the task bar, so it should be as easy to disable predictive text as changing the font size.

I never want any auto-suggestions. They are annoying. How do I disable this "feature"?

Whenever I sign on to Outlook or Hotmail I'm asked to reclaim ownership of my user name.
Why am I getting this message: Your account requires
attention. Someone else has claimed ownership of my
phone number. You'll need to use a different user name
the next time you sign in. After I confirm that I have
ownership of my phone number I must enter a code
number to reclaim my user name. This is a new issue
that started-up when I added profile info to my Outlook
account.

Inserting an image into a message also inserts it into an attachment
Hello,
It recently happened to me that I inserted a image into a message, but the image no longer appeared after sending.
It would be easy to prevent these problems - insert the image into the message and the attachment.
It works well on email.seznam.cz. If you insert a image into the message, it is also attached. It probably works by adding it to the attachment and from the attachment to the message. But that doesn't change the fact that you can view an image in an attachment if the image doesn't appear in the message.
I would be grateful…

Is anyone else annoyed by the predictive text innovation?
I want to know how to stop predictive text. It's mostly not what I want to say and I can type faster than it anyway. Help!!

[Dislike]:Too many steps/clicks to sign in.
Too many steps/clicks to sign in. It now takes even more steps to sign into Outlook Live.
First page: Splash screen with woman / need to click Sign In
Second page: Enter e-mail
Third page: Enter password
Fourth page: Say whether or not I want to stay signed in
WHY?
Put everything on the first page. Stop making using the product so painful.
