  1. Infinite scroll makes it impossible to get to old emails

    Previous iterations of outlook.com have used pagination or viewport scrolling to allow me to accurately jump to any point in the middle of my inbox. The new layout, however, uses infinite scrolling, meaning that if I want to view a message more than a few days old, I have to scroll to the bottom, wait for a few messages to load, scroll to the bottom, wait for more messages to load, ad infinitum.

    isn't it possible to have more compact view? menus are taking lots of space in screen and way too annoying.

    First off, I want to thank everyone for providing feedback about spacing/whitespace/density controls. This is indeed something that we are evaluating and designing. At this time I don’t have an exact time frame for when this will be available, but we will keep this item updated as we progress with this work.

  4. Mail Program Locks Up

    When I receive email that has special characters in the subject line, it causes my browser mail program (such as Microsoft Edge) to crash/lock up. Lately, I have been getting a lot of email from Home Depot with graphic characters in subject line.

  6. Can't attach files - STILL!

    Outlook.com has become a failure. It would seem that 90% of the time I'm unable to send an email with an attachment as I get to notifications to say either "The following files couldn't be attached" or "this message can't be saved at the moment". If this is a lame attempt to have me use the cloud or go 'pro' it has failed. I will now go to Gmail. MS - you're becoming a legacy and not current and vital!!

  8. Undo Button

    Change the Undo button to its original functionality as well as positioning. Previously the Undo button was on the right hand side of Web Outlook, ever since the update it move it to the left hand side. On top of changing location the button doesn't have the same functionality... previously when viewing an e-mail and deleting one, the undo button was featured on the right hand side as well.

  10. Problem with "Manage Subscriptions" & Junk Email

    Within the past 2 weeks I've been receiving excessive junk mail in my inbox, and most of it relates to subscriptions that I did not request, but which now show under Manage Subscriptions. I keep blocking the emails and have unsubscribed to the subscriptions in the mail tools, but I never had this problem before.

  11. Outlook floods my friends' mail

    When I send an email to friends, each message is sent separately even when I respond to an existing message. Which causes the load in my friends mailbox because if I write 10 messages instead of reaching as one message it comes in 10 messages.
    Also in my box it appears about 10 posts which means that my box is also overloaded.

  15. block senders

    This No Longer Works
    1) Select the item in the message list
    2) Select the “Junk” dropdown in the top level menu bar
    3) Select “Block”
    I tried to block some unwanted senders today and the Block Sender NOW DOES NOT WORK. I sent 10 Sender To The Block List and none of them went to the list. I selected 1 at a time and tried to block it and it still did not go too my list. DO YOU TEST YOUR FIXES OR EXPECT CUSTOMERS TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT??? How Do I Block Them Now Have To…

  17. Blocked Senders & Domain - Skip Junk & Trash

    Rather than sending blocked senders and blocked domains to the junk folder, let's have their emails skip the junk folder, skip the trash (deleted items) folder and have those specific emails just disappear into oblivion.

  19. Inbox and scrolling

    Lots of problems with "scrolling"...this one is -- Email inbox--With scrolling so slow, I should AT LEAST be able to scroll with the page down/up buttons but there is no response...I am left with clicking for the down arrow in the scroll bar, over & Over & OVER & OVER & OVER.....!!! with only a line or few at a time!
    ALSO, when use quick-link icon to delete email, I have to wait 5-10 seconds, PER EMAIL that I delete, before it will show me the list of emails in the inbox, so I can continue. Really...THIS is what you…

  20. Deleted Items Folder - Mass vs Selective Delete of Items

    Deleted Items Folder - Need to be able to delete items by the page by clicking the Deleted Items button - available in previous version. New version selects all mail in Deleted Items folder to be deleted. I now have to select emails individually to delete - wasting my time.
