Outlook Customer Manager, a new Office 365 service, helps small businesses track and grow their customer relationships right within Outlook. It gives a complete view of interactions with each business contact, helps track tasks and deals in progress, and surfaces timely reminders—all next to your inbox. Outlook Customer Manager will be available at no extra cost to Office 365 Business Premium subscribers – beginning with those in First Release program and continuing worldwide in the coming months.     Good afternoon, it´s a question, not an idea. Can I import CRM data from other applications in Excel or any other format?

  2. Mobile Client - Add separate tabs for companies and clients

    Please add separate tabs for contacts and companies in the mobile client. This just additional clicks for me to get where I want. If you decide not to add a separate tab then at least remember which segment was selected. Currently it always go back to Contacts.

  3. Bulk Delete Data

    I have now had a chance to understand the optimal set up for my data and now would like to start with a clean database. At the moment the only way to do this is to individually delete each item, which is impractical.

  4. Editing Deal Stages

    There appears to be no way to edit the deal stage. One can only delete the stage, and reenter it. Presumably, this will invalidate the entry in all the deals.

  5. Timeline does not show emails in shared deals

    I can't see emails (relationship history) in shared deals and contacts. See only history of changes

  6. Add more currency formats

    Right now it supports $. Would be great to be able to pick the currency when adding a deal.

    We currently support several currencies. To change the currency. Go to the deals tab in the module, on the amount column click on the pencil icon. Here you can select another currency. Let me know if this doesn’t meet your needs.

  7. hundred duplicates of business

    I'm trying to use OCM, but in a week the businesses I added are still in "update" status (rotating icon) and one business has been duplicated over 200 times, after I deleted it one by one, in a few operation it has been duplicated again 145 times.

    The others businesses are still locked in "update" status...

  8. birthdays

    When adding a birthday to a contact it doesn't seem to do anything, I would think a reminder added to the calendar would be default. If this is the case it doesn't work. It actually shows the birthday in my iPhone calendar but no where in the outlook iPhone app or outlook for desktop.

  9. Deleting and sharing of custom columns

    I added a column for contact information and then had to delete it so that i could change the Column type but it will not update. It keeps only the options of the first time i added the column. Suggestions, 1) debug better so your product works 2) let us change the column type without deleting it 3) i get an error when i try to export (see comment 4) let other people i share the contact with see my custom added columns. Overall, I was hoping i could recommend this tool to my team, but it still has significant…

    Hello, thank you for contacting us. Here a few answers to your questions:
    2.) This is technically not possible at this time. I suggest the new field type you want to create. Try by naming it slightly different and then renaming it after the creation.
    3.) This is a bug, we are working on
    4.) this is a bug we are working on (sorry) – please also contact support, so we can get your contact information and can look into your account.

    We are working on the issues and it is partially available in Mac – you can see the email integration there.

  10. Sync O365 contacts and groups

    Why are we managing contact databases from the standard O365 for business people app, bookings, and now this. The entire premise of the app was the small business owner and how difficult it is for us to stay on top of our customer needs. This product currently makes the job harder. We need seamless workflows

  14. FIX BUG USING EDGE, YOU KNOW YOUR PRODUCT, AS DEFAULT BROWSER

    How can Microsoft and Satya spend keynote after keynote telling us how EDGE is so much better and secure and the only thing you want to use if you want to be protected and then for anyone wanting to use Customer Manager - they cant use edge as default browser because Customer Manager BREAKS when you try to export a report or click on a link. How is this ok to go on for months and months

  15. More field options when importing

    There were a lot more field options on BCM when importing Contacts, Companies and Deals. One major setup I have in using OCM, is that I cannot associate a number of fields to my contacts. Most importantly: Company, Mobile Phone and Category.

  19. Task Categories

    Allow assignment of a task to a category when being created. I sort my tasks by context, ala GTD. Being able to add context to a task (@Computer, @Calls etc.) would be a big help. It would save the step of having to go back to the task list and sort your newly created OCM tasks.

  20. Mobile Client - Add Alphabetical scroller to contacts and companies list

    I have over 300 entries in my companies list now. It's too unwieldy to scroll through it and I don't prefer to search. It would be nice to see an alphabetical scroller on the right or be able to click on a letter and see a list of letter to jump to (kind of like how Windows Phone used to do it).
