Outlook Customer Manager, a new Office 365 service, helps small businesses track and grow their customer relationships right within Outlook. It gives a complete view of interactions with each business contact, helps track tasks and deals in progress, and surfaces timely reminders—all next to your inbox. Outlook Customer Manager will be available at no extra cost to Office 365 Business Premium subscribers – beginning with those in First Release program and continuing worldwide in the coming months.     Allow for multiple groups of OCM data. useful for subdevisions or companies split into multiple organizational units.

  2. Allow Customization or Renaming of things like "Company" to "Accounts".

    Please allow the ability to customize the names of major categories. For example: "Deal" to "Policy" and "Company" to "Account". This was OCM can be used for a broader variety of businesses. My business doesn't offer "deals", but I'm using that category to keep track of policy information.

  3. Universal Deal

    Please allow the creation of an optional UNIVERSAL Deal. A deal that can be linked to more than one contact or company.

    For example: I have 100 Contacts and/or Companies that all use the EXACT same deal. Rather than having to re-create that same deal 100 times, allow it to be linked to be a universal or shared deal.

  4. Automatically share the full time line of shared contacts.

    My colleagues need to see the last time someone was in contact with our contacts and see the content of the communication. The sharing of time line information (mail, calls, notes etc) is essential for this product.

  5. Allow Disabling of "Focused" feature in OCM

    Please create a SETTINGS page for OCM and allow customization, such as disabling the "Focused" feature. Similar to how "Focused inboxes" can be disabled in Outlook.

    Focused isn't a useful feature for my business. It's actually distracting.

  8. Within OCM have levels of permissions for access rights.

    Within OCM - be able to permit levels of permission for users. At the minute it is either private or public. Even better would be to have OCM within existing groups of office users, so therefore only certain users can see workflow for sales/projects etc.

  9. Ability to set default value to YES for sharing contacts and deals

    When using outlook customer manager and adding in contacts businesses or deals the default value to share those is set to No. I want to be able to have that default value set to yes since we want to be able to share contacts and deals pretty much every time by default.

  10. Syncronize with local Outlook contacts

    It is nessesary to have the Business contacts that are shared with all available in a seperated contact Folder under the normal inbox contacts or integrated in this. If not it is not posible to have the contacts on mobile phone to see who is caling me. Another thing is i want to open an email and type the name of an contact from ocm.

    Allow users to enter custom header names for default column headers : (i.e. "Name", "Company", "Email Address", "Phone number", etc... )

  12. Add Job Title field in contacts

    Each contact needs to have a job title - when you import contacts it lets you map to the field, but you can't see it anywhere.

  13. Integrate Contacts with Outlook for Android

    You need to create a contact in Outlook desktop to trigger it to integrate with Outlook for Android. If you make a contact from the OCM workflow, it doesn't show up in OfA

  14. Develop Printable VIEWS that allow Paper files of "COMPANY" and "CONTACT" details section and the "notes" section from current interfaces!

    Develop a 1 page PRINTABLE view including all "Details" data and all "Notes" so that a paper file can be created for individual records - "CUSTOMER" or "CONTACT"! IE: A "snapshot page" similar to what could be printed from individual files in BCM!

  15. Allow files attached to emails the ability to be dragged to the files tab in a contact or deal or company

    Whenever you wnat to save a file to a deal,contact or company, allow it to be dragged froom an email directly to the file tab.

  16. make OCM available also for additional non-exchange accounts

    I can the OCM use only for my one Exchange account in Outlook. If I go to the additional IMAP and POP accounts the OCM button disappears.

  17. I would like to open OCM from a contact's page, by finding a contact (in people) and then clicking an icon to find all the linked actions

    Generally if I want to find out where I am upto regarding a particular contact I would go to that person's file (Contact page). But in OCM the OCM icon does not appear on the ribbon when in the contact page. this is crazy.
    If I want to know who I need to call next, I can go to tasks, and there is the task and there is the icon for OCM, but if I want to know what I need to do next for Joe Dole, the icon is not there.
    COntact management MUST be contact focused, NOT activity…

    When i have more active deals in the same time period for a customer, it should ben possible to separate the email communication for this customer in the different deals.
