Links to Tasks, Appointments and Folders
I see someone suggested linking to existing tasks (including those created from an email) but also an existing appointment from Calendar. Also, would like to link to a directory Folder not just files.

In the files tab, there is the option to add a link. Let us know, if that helps you.

Instead of linking to a file on the web (or in Sharepoint), we need to be able to link to a local file on our Windows PC. When putting in the the file path address from Windows, the program only tries to open the link in a browser (not in Windows explorer). And then the browser cannot open the link, anyway.

Agree with 1 Nov below. You can add a deal to an email from the email in outlook. However there does not seem to be the ability to do the same from a meeting in Calendar?

I'd like to link a calendar item to a contact easily without having to send them an email about the appointment

I added the file folder directory there but it opened IE and tried to open a webpage that doesn't exist. That also doesn't help with linking of existing Tasks or Calendar Appointments.
