Share Select Emails, Because Obviously Want Some Emails to be Private
Please add a feature to select which emails are shared, because there will obviously be some emails that one might like to keep private from the rest of the team.
Without the ability to share meeting and phone logs in the activity window within the organisation we have little use of OCM. Would be great to see this feature enabled.
Currently when a contact, company or deal is shared with a group, that item's notes and files are able to be shared. However, Timeline information, such as emails, call logs, or posts, are only visible to the individual user who inputs the data. The rest of the team cannot see a log of a call I made to a customer. In our organization (and many others), the ability for several users to see who has contacted a customer and what information was discussed would be incredibly useful.
Right now, the sharing function is virtually useless because the team cannot see the timeline of all communications with the customer/deal making it difficult for a team member who did not create the deal to understand what is going on and/or modify the Stages.
Will sharing timeline information become a feature of this product?
Timeline posts, meeting logs and phone logs should have the option to be synced to other users timelines as this would benefit small businesses who's users all contact the same customers.
It seems that the Timeline is not shared by the OCM.
If a team member can not see the history (with details) of a client, then how can he help him?
If the OCM is just a tool to share contact informations, then it does not bring much.
We already had the possibility to create a shared contact folder ...
But maybe I did not set up OCM correctly?

It looks like once you add a contact to the deal you get all the conversations you ever had with the contact attached to the deal. If an internal contact, this inserts a great deal of noise in the communication that must be waded through.

I would like to add that contacts shared in OCM should have all emails shared by default with the option to turn off or hide specific emails from the timeline. Manually sharing each email is not going to work because people are lazy. Private important emails are rare and will get special treatment anyway.
I just started working with Customer Manager. Our team of five has shared some customer contacts but we do not see each others emails, notes, call logs, etc. in the Timeline. We only see that the contact has been shared and our own notes and emails. I take it there is a way to see all emails and notes related to that customer, correct?

I agree this is needed, but I am confused because (for our team) not all Users can see all emails associated with a Deal. In other words, the benefit of having a single view where all users can see the history for a Deal does not work for us.
How will sharing work?
Since some emails will obviously be private, it would be nice to have the ability to choose which emails will be shared with the rest of the company in OCM. However, I would still like all emails between me and the contact to be listed in the OCM timeline. Almost need like a Facebook privacy tag (ie. "public," "specific people," "just me," etc.)
