We often have several deals with the same customer, and we really miss the possibility to save/flag relevant emails to link them to a certain deal. One workaround is to upload each mail to the deal using files, but that is hardly an ideal solution.1 vote
You should be able to add an email to specific emails. To do this, open the email in Outlook, click on Outlook Customer Manager. In the top right corner is a button “all related” click on it. it opens a page that shows all the related information. Next to the deal is a plus. Click it and you can select a deal you can attach this email to. Hope that helps.

We are available everywhere you can get Office365. You need a Business Premium subscription for it though.
i change contacts to Business contacts about 40. they do not show in the display area when I select business contacts. when I change sort to Z to A some show but not all1 vote

You can currently customize the stages. You can do so by going to the Deals list and select the edit icon next to the stage field. Here you can update the stages. We are not planning at the moment to provide more sophisticated business process customization.
I am having trouble sharing contacts with my coworkers. Since I shared one contact as a test with him, his add in no longer works. Assuming we get that to work will he be able to see my custom columns? Please be sure that this is possible! Maybe an admin can have control? As part of a CRM for our company we all need see the same information and basic fields for us are 1) to assigning a contact owner internally, 2) an importance level, 3) a contact type field, 4) a region field.1 vote
We are constantly improving our sharing behavior. If you do not see shared contacts or the same set of custom fields, please contact support.
For the issue your colleague saw with the “add in no longer works”. He might be hitting an issue, for which we are rolling out a fix in the next week, so he should be able to have it working again.
Categories of clients: can I categorize contacts as "Schools with Foreign Students" and another as "Schools with Football" etc.?
I would like to have contacts identified as a category. "Schools of 1-250 students", "Schools of 251-500" or any other such category. I can do that as categories in Outlook. How does this fit with OCM. I would like to pull them up and email to one category and then another email to the other category.1 vote
Currently the only way is, when you go to the contacts list you can create a new field. You can choose a choice field. In it you can add the categories you like.

The problem with third parts apps of this kind is integration - with everything MSFT is adding all the time - the benefit from the out of the box integration everything has is powerful. This app used to be unstable and unusable not too long ago but it is now stable enough where I am making an investment in data in the app - I hope you continue to develop it and the most important thing you could do is allow access to the data via excel query like you do to the rest of exchange.

You need to give us the date of the post - so that we aren't reading about features and bugs that were posted s o long ago they have likely been resolved. Also the drop down list how about "Bug" or "Problem", "Office Integration"1 vote
I added the categories. I wasn’t able to change the layout to show the date, but we try to close them once we fix them.
You can create a custom field to any object such as contact or company. You can add any of these fields automatically.
Problem: The "Deal Details" does not have a method to change the status, which means that you cannot change the "Stage"1 vote
When you change the stage you change the status. The mapping between stage and status are done through the customization UI on the module. To change the status you need to go to the “View Details” section on the deal.
How do I get rid of or hide this useless add-in? It just clogs up valuable real estate in my Ribbon.1 vote
You can go to “Manage Add-ins” from the Outlook “Files” tab. It opens a webpage. Here you can disable it. Deleting will not work, as it will be installed again.
It is kind of hard to know how to make OCM better when I don't have it.
I have upgraded my subscription months ago waiting for the OCM icon to magically appear to no avail.
How about an accurate reply as to when you will make it available? I just got off the phone with TechSupport and they don't have a clue.
As of April 19th it should be available world wide. Please make sure you are using Outlook with your email address from Business Premium. If it doesnt show up, please contact support again.

It is a great to be able to add User Defined Fields to the Database, but without the ability to search on those fields, the feature is only half cooked.3 votes

Everyone in Business Premium should have Outlook Customer Manager. We support the main Office languages (except for arabic and hebrew), everyone else will see English. If the app doesnt show up in Outlook, please contact support.

Not sure if it is because I am editing the fields so quickly, but the data is duplicating on its own. Something to possibly look into.1 vote
