Outlook Customer Manager, a new Office 365 service, helps small businesses track and grow their customer relationships right within Outlook. It gives a complete view of interactions with each business contact, helps track tasks and deals in progress, and surfaces timely reminders—all next to your inbox. Outlook Customer Manager will be available at no extra cost to Office 365 Business Premium subscribers – beginning with those in First Release program and continuing worldwide in the coming months. Add support for Office 365 E3 and E5 tenants (as well as E1 and E2)
We have a team called government and public policy that would like to use this feature to track communication with certain important contacts. Please make this feature available for our Enterprise E3 tenant.

Add sub-tasks
Tasks linked to customer contacts are good, but the ability to have tasks AND subtasks would be great.
Our manufacturing company frequently works with customers on multiple projects that run in parallel. Each project has one to two dozen discreet tasks associated with it. Each task would represent a project overall. Linked sub-tasks would represent what needed to be accomplished on each project.
We don't need the complexity of MS Project but we need more than one level task lists (or the one level task list with check boxes in the Office 365 Planner).

Make Outlook Customer Manager available in Outlook Online (Outlook Web Acess)
With Office 365 Online apps and Dynamics 365 etc. It would make sense to make Outlook Customer Manager also available for Outlook Online. For example like a slide in form the right like Skype or Delve info.

Make Outlook Customer Manager available also offline
Customer data are in particular useful directly before a customer is visited. A typical situation is the flight to a customer. To look up data during the flight Outlook Customer Manager needs to be available also offline.

Ability to set default value to YES for sharing contacts and deals
When using outlook customer manager and adding in contacts businesses or deals the default value to share those is set to No. I want to be able to have that default value set to yes since we want to be able to share contacts and deals pretty much every time by default.

Automatically share the full time line of shared contacts.
My colleagues need to see the last time someone was in contact with our contacts and see the content of the communication. The sharing of time line information (mail, calls, notes etc) is essential for this product.

Sharing of timeline information
When a contact is shared have thier timeline call log, notes etc appear for everyone to see. If my assistant takes a phone call and makes a note I would like to see that in the timeline when I review that contact. Thanks.

Syncronize with local Outlook contacts
It is nessesary to have the Business contacts that are shared with all available in a seperated contact Folder under the normal inbox contacts or integrated in this. If not it is not posible to have the contacts on mobile phone to see who is caling me. Another thing is i want to open an email and type the name of an contact from ocm.

Shared contacts directly from Outlook
Please make sure contacts can be shared with everyone using Customer Manager from Outlook as well as via API-access for other systems. Global Address Books doesn't work well for SMBs.

Sort and change columns order on deals list
Last upgrade, we lost the sort feature on Deals lists as well as moving or changing the columns order. That was an excellent feature to follow deals.
155 votesWe are sorry and are working on bringing it back as soon as possible. With the old implementation we had some issues with loading a lot of deals and contacts, so we had to make the change to improve performance.

Please can you include outgoing emails in the contact record, at present the contact record only has incoming emails
Include the outgoing and incoming emails for a contact in the contact level OCM record. At present only the incoming emails are included in the contact record - you have to go to the company record to see connected outgoing emails. Of course a company record could have many contact associated with it, so having outgoing emails only in this view makes little sense to me.

Each contact needs to have a job title - when you import contacts it lets you map to the field, but you can't see it anywhere.

Allow Tasks created outside Customer Manager to be added to the Task List.
Anyone who has been using Outlook for some time, has task they created or, will create that they may want to appear in the Customer Manager Task List including, tasks created from e-mails.

Integrate Contacts with Outlook for Android
You need to create a contact in Outlook desktop to trigger it to integrate with Outlook for Android. If you make a contact from the OCM workflow, it doesn't show up in OfA
