Outlook Customer Manager, a new Office 365 service, helps small businesses track and grow their customer relationships right within Outlook. It gives a complete view of interactions with each business contact, helps track tasks and deals in progress, and surfaces timely reminders—all next to your inbox. Outlook Customer Manager will be available at no extra cost to Office 365 Business Premium subscribers – beginning with those in First Release program and continuing worldwide in the coming months.   2. Fix bugs: mutlitple contacts per company, multiple contacts per deal, share shared

    This application is very glitchy, which is disappointing. Primary glitches I'm running into:

    1) I am only able to add company to one contact. Thereafter, that company is not available to future contacts. 1-1 relationship? Same goes for deals. Once add, it's gone.

    2) Shared contacts cannot be seen. Where do they go and why can't my co-workers see them?

    I view these as core to OCM so I'm surprised to be running into these issues right out of the gate.

  3. Deleted deals are still i Focus

    I tried to delete a deal, but the OCM stopped, then next time I tried to delete it is gone from the liste but still i Focus

  5. Seems very buggy, I have had many errors,failure to save, wait-we haven't completed creating that customer yet issues. So far, not very imp

    Lets start with it working, not really working all that well. (But then outlook tells me all the time that a contact doesn't exist when I know for a fact that it does and I find it and then suddenly outlook finds it too, but not when it should.)
    I have added 8 customers and 2 of the 8 have a mystery error or are unusable, I have no idea if I need to delete these and start them again or what but 25% failure rate seems a bit high.

  6. New Columns

    In CRM when we create a new column can we move it to a new location?

    Once you create a column and added fill ins make those part of the drop down.

    Make it able to modify while in the contacts view.

  9. Make it work like it should.

    All contacts show as personal and business, cant separate them.

    Tasks do not synch correctly between machines.

  10. Filter on date contact was added

    We need to filter on when the contact was added so we can export them and add them to our mailchimp email lists.

  12. make OCM available also for additional non-exchange accounts

    I can the OCM use only for my one Exchange account in Outlook. If I go to the additional IMAP and POP accounts the OCM button disappears.

  17. Disable reading pane requirement to use OCM

    To use OCM in the inbox view the reading pane must be on. I do not like the reading pane and consider it to be a security risk, thus I am not using OCM. I see no reason for this requirement, please remove the requirement that the reading pane must be enabled to use OCM

  18. Some way to identify if a note exists

    In each of the records you have the ability to add a "Note" Company, contact or Deal. The problem is that you are not able to see if a note exists without selecting it to see. Maybe similar to files show a (1) next to it to show that a note is available for that record.

  20. Allow multi-select of contacts and then allow setting all selected contacts to Shared status

    There should be the capacity to select multiple contacts in the OCM interface in Outlook 2016, and then change certain settings on all selected contacts - but most importantly their shared status.

    Often, smaller companies all share the contacts and deals they are working on. When someone joins the OCM and brings their contacts in, not being able to share them all, or a specific subset with one or few clicks, is a major barrier to getting on board with the software.
