Outlook Customer Manager, a new Office 365 service, helps small businesses track and grow their customer relationships right within Outlook. It gives a complete view of interactions with each business contact, helps track tasks and deals in progress, and surfaces timely reminders—all next to your inbox. Outlook Customer Manager will be available at no extra cost to Office 365 Business Premium subscribers – beginning with those in First Release program and continuing worldwide in the coming months.   1. Make it more reliable.

    Many times it fails, or pops up that it is not available yet to me (even though I was using it earlier in the day). Also, make things autosave so you don't accidentially navigate away.

  4. Streamline the file upload

    Uploading files to OCM gets the files stored in either the OCM Group (for Deals) or in the user's personal OneDrive (for Contacts and Companies). My suggestion is to streamline this.

  5. Export Task List

    Add ability to export task list based on specific column (i.e. export active tasks for "Org Type"=Client)

  6. Reminders not working

    Reminders are not popping up at the time requested. Not sure if they are supposed to but I would think that is what they are used for.

  7. Add relationships link

    Each contact should be able to be assigned to a specific company and describe what the relationship is (such as auditor, vendors, payroll contact, etc)

  8. Leverage EXISTING Office 365 Groups

    Hey folks,
    I just don't understand the inability to use existing Office 365 groups. I have a public group for our Sales team, that external users can email. To use Staffhub to write a schedule for my sales team... new group. To use Office Customer Manager... New Group.... To use Microsoft Teams... new group. Its driving me insane! I can't use new features if they required duplicating everything I have done already to work. Beautiful interface, with no much potentail if it would just utilize my EXISTING Office 365 Group foundations.

  9. Integrate with Microsoft Teams

    Seeing as OCM is built on sharepoint please allow the ability to create a team in microsoft teams based on the same permissions the group. This would allow me to work in teams pretty much all day long. Being able to chat and discuss deals in microsoft teams with other staff and have deal files in the same place will make an incredible benefit to my business.

  10. Ability to assign tasks

    Allow Tasks to be assigned to other Users (internal) of an organization.

  11. Create Reporting Capabilities

    It would be helpful to have some level of reporting to evaluate key business metrics like conversions, length of time in the pipeline, etc.

  12. Allow User to Select the Task List

    Currently, it seems that the Task list (at least the one on the Today tab) is pulling from the Outlook To Do list. We have to be able to choose the task list because all tasks are to do's but not all to's are tasks. Plus, the To Do list can pull in personal to do's and tasks, which are not relevant.

  13. Last Contact Attempted

    "Last Contacted" seems to be when the contact in a Deal contacts me. That is great, but even more valuable would be "Last Contact Attempted" so I can see the Deal view who I need to follow up with.

    Xero integration with Customer Manager would make great sense, copy over quote/deal information from Xero and vice versa

    Outlook Customer Manager shows you the language of your Outlook. If you change the language of Outlook or Office in general. Outlook Customer Manager will change. We support a wide range of languages, but when we don’t we will fall back to English. What is the language you are looking for?

  17. Need database maintenance utlities

    When trying to delete a Contact Record, an error dialog box pops up with: Details Not Avail. . . contact your admin for help. Well, I am the Admin, but there seems to be no tools for database management.

  18. Links to Tasks, Appointments and Folders

    I see someone suggested linking to existing tasks (including those created from an email) but also an existing appointment from Calendar. Also, would like to link to a directory Folder not just files.

  19. Company 'Website' field should be hyperlinked.

    Long pressing or double clicking any url should launch the default browser and load the linked page.

    When looking at the company you will see the hyperlink under the deal name. When in the details of the compnay there is an icon on the left hand side, which opens the link. Currently you are not able to open the hyperlink in the grid – we are looking into this.
