Outlook Customer Manager, a new Office 365 service, helps small businesses track and grow their customer relationships right within Outlook. It gives a complete view of interactions with each business contact, helps track tasks and deals in progress, and surfaces timely reminders—all next to your inbox. Outlook Customer Manager will be available at no extra cost to Office 365 Business Premium subscribers – beginning with those in First Release program and continuing worldwide in the coming months.     Make the signature file automatically appended to emails created by Customer Manager.

  2. Creating new document-folder for deal automatically

    Hi,
    I got a suggestion : When you want to copy or drag&drop existing documents to a new deal, this process is relatively complicated.
    Pleas implement a function that automatically creates this folder.

    Alternatively, maybe a good compromise.
    In Deal/Document there is a " + Button" where you can select
    Add Link
    or
    Add File

    There should be a third selection named
    Create Folder

    Currently copying existing files e.g. from an existing deal to a new deal within windows explorer is complicated.

    First you have to Add an existing file (I always use a 1 kB File that I delete…

  5. OCM requires IE to work: Make it more explicit.

    If IE is not present, OCM displays a message "your browser is not supported", but the support page indicates that Edge is supported. This is misleading. Ultimately, would be nice if Edge support OCM natively.

  9. Timer and Journal

    It would be fantastic if OCM integrated a timer and journal function for recording time on calls or in meetings etc. And a report roll up by day, week, customer, task etc.

  11. Enhance note taking

    Enhance note taking
    When you looking at email the OCM box comes up on the right of the screen and adding notes to as a post, meeting log or call log the note goes to the top of the list. As I get more emails the note goes further down the list and are hard to find easily . A deal is not well suited for taking notes either. You can add a field for notes but I seems to be one line only. A scrollable box would be nice. I know you have a notes field but I have…

    Emails emails secured are not available in OCM. But I think this should be a essential security feature.

  13. Sending Mass Emails

    Is it possible, or will it be possible to send mass emails from OCM?

    Ideally having a function to create an advanced filter like BCM would be great.

    This is a MUST for our company and many others I expect.

  14. Add troubelshooting ways

    When it works, there is critical data. Contacts, Deals, but there is no clear indication of the Customer Manager's with Groups in the cloud, where the data is backed up or how to access CM data in the cloud. When it breaks there is not indication of the service being up, down, or how to retrieve the data.

  16. Please Provide Documentation

    I really, really want to like OCM but have had nothing but problems getting it working. If I could trust it, I'd be recommending it in a heartbeat to one of my clients, which would get them to subscribe to O365.

    Shortcomings from the administration/setup point of view:

    1) no real documentation to be found anywhere;
    2) No information on scripting/custom imports.
    3) No ability to import journals from older versions of Outlook.

    As an admin, I need documentation. I hate having to open a support request because of general error messages. A FAQ is not sufficient.

  17. Provide an Import Funtion for Journal Items

    I'm working to get a client to upgrade to Office 2016 and to subscribe to Office 365. They've been using the Journal feature of previous versions of Outlook to track client activities and have created a number of custom columns to suit their business. It would be a deal clincher to be able to import that data.

  19. Timeline Posts - New Window

    Allow timeline posts to be clickable when it is a post, call log, or meeting log. Open into a new window so the post is easily readable. When hovered over, it only shows a certain amount.

  20. Sort by last item in timeline

    Is there a way to sort contacts by last contact / timeline item? seems like this is important functionality currently missing.
