Outlook Customer Manager, a new Office 365 service, helps small businesses track and grow their customer relationships right within Outlook. It gives a complete view of interactions with each business contact, helps track tasks and deals in progress, and surfaces timely reminders—all next to your inbox. Outlook Customer Manager will be available at no extra cost to Office 365 Business Premium subscribers – beginning with those in First Release program and continuing worldwide in the coming months.   3. Allow Disabling of "Focused" feature in OCM

    Please create a SETTINGS page for OCM and allow customization, such as disabling the "Focused" feature. Similar to how "Focused inboxes" can be disabled in Outlook.

    Focused isn't a useful feature for my business. It's actually distracting.

  4. Universal Deal

    Please allow the creation of an optional UNIVERSAL Deal. A deal that can be linked to more than one contact or company.

    For example: I have 100 Contacts and/or Companies that all use the EXACT same deal. Rather than having to re-create that same deal 100 times, allow it to be linked to be a universal or shared deal.

  5. Allow Customization or Renaming of things like "Company" to "Accounts".

    Please allow the ability to customize the names of major categories. For example: "Deal" to "Policy" and "Company" to "Account". This was OCM can be used for a broader variety of businesses. My business doesn't offer "deals", but I'm using that category to keep track of policy information.

    Actually it isn't possible to add more than 25 fields for a contact / a company or a deal.

  7. Develop Printable VIEWS that allow Paper files of "COMPANY" and "CONTACT" details section and the "notes" section from current interfaces!

    Develop a 1 page PRINTABLE view including all "Details" data and all "Notes" so that a paper file can be created for individual records - "CUSTOMER" or "CONTACT"! IE: A "snapshot page" similar to what could be printed from individual files in BCM!

  8. Allow files attached to emails the ability to be dragged to the files tab in a contact or deal or company

    Whenever you wnat to save a file to a deal,contact or company, allow it to be dragged froom an email directly to the file tab.

  10. Possible to use OCm with IMAP Account

    Is it possible soon, to add also IMAP Accounts in OCM? It's a Long time, since MS released the new OCM, but still no solution to add them?

  11. Please add a "Website" into contact

    In the contact card, there is phone number, email address, and physical address, but not a place for a website. I always review a new customer's site before sending out an email and often look again when checking in current customers to see whats new.

  13. Within OCM have levels of permissions for access rights.

    Within OCM - be able to permit levels of permission for users. At the minute it is either private or public. Even better would be to have OCM within existing groups of office users, so therefore only certain users can see workflow for sales/projects etc.

  14. I would like to open OCM from a contact's page, by finding a contact (in people) and then clicking an icon to find all the linked actions

    Generally if I want to find out where I am upto regarding a particular contact I would go to that person's file (Contact page). But in OCM the OCM icon does not appear on the ribbon when in the contact page. this is crazy.
    If I want to know who I need to call next, I can go to tasks, and there is the task and there is the icon for OCM, but if I want to know what I need to do next for Joe Dole, the icon is not there.
    COntact management MUST be contact focused, NOT activity…

  16. customize column views (contacts)

    Need to be able to have a better overview of my contacts. Best was is to at least allow me to select different views, such as selecting which columns are shown in which order. For example being able to quickly sort which contacts are shared or not.

  18. Create a filter option for timeline to separate event notes, phone calls, and emails.

    When you log an event note on the timeline, it is difficult to find when you want to review over time. The manager logs all emails, etc to the timeline and if you do not know the specific date you met with a customer, you have to scroll through the entire timeline just to look back on your notes. I am hoping you can develop a filter function under companies to differentiate events, calls, and emails.

  19. Need additional address lines as standard

    There MUST be AT LEAST one, but perhaps the option to have TWO or more address lines AS STANDARD in OCM. It is inconceivable that OCM has been designed to only have one line for street address. Currently I can see fields for (a) address (b) town (c) County/region (d) Postcode and (e) country. I have decades of experience in managing data and this is hopelessly inadequate. And we are not just talking about one country, but across dozens of countries I have worked with one line for the address street field isn't enough. And no, separating address components with…

  20. I have outlook 2016 and data files. The .pst file saved on c drive does not have OCM icon while other linked to 365 has. Need icon on both

    I have outlook 2016 and two data files. The .pst file saved on c drive does not have OCM icon while other also saved on c drive but linked to 365 has. Need icon on both. How can I get OCM icon on Outlook data file that is not linked to 365 exchange but exists as a standalone e-mail data file in Outlook 2016.
