Outlook Customer Manager, a new Office 365 service, helps small businesses track and grow their customer relationships right within Outlook. It gives a complete view of interactions with each business contact, helps track tasks and deals in progress, and surfaces timely reminders—all next to your inbox. Outlook Customer Manager will be available at no extra cost to Office 365 Business Premium subscribers – beginning with those in First Release program and continuing worldwide in the coming months.   1. Create a link back from a created task to the associated contact

    I can create a task in Customer Manager, with a due date, and the task appears with no problem in the task list. If I view the customer or the task list in the Customer Manager, I can see the associated task. However, when I open the task from the Outlook's Tasks, in the navigation panel, there is no way find out which contact it is linked to.

    I currently use the "Daily Task List" in the Calendar view. Currently, tasks created from the customer manager appear here, but it is impossible to find out who they are associated with…

  2. Bring this to Office365 Home and/ or Outlook 2016 for individuals

    I use Office 365 as I have no need or use for a Business version as I am a 1 man operation. For years I had used Business Contact Manager and like many others was upset it wasn't kept going for Office 365. I have been waiting for something like this to come out but then to only find out it was only for Office Business Premium. I have no need for all the extra stuff thus my reason for the version I choose. Please tell me there is something in the works for 1 person small businesses.

  4. New Columns

    In CRM when we create a new column can we move it to a new location?

    Once you create a column and added fill ins make those part of the drop down.

    Make it able to modify while in the contacts view.

  5. Integrate with Microsoft Teams

    Seeing as OCM is built on sharepoint please allow the ability to create a team in microsoft teams based on the same permissions the group. This would allow me to work in teams pretty much all day long. Being able to chat and discuss deals in microsoft teams with other staff and have deal files in the same place will make an incredible benefit to my business.

  6. Create Profiles, Create Groups of coworkers who can interact with de data en OCM

    Allow permission and to create certain profiles for the users. Allow to share o delegate task to another co-worker.

  9. Share with Specific Colleagues or Groups

    Share contact, deal, company, task, etc. with specific colleagues or groups. Right now "share" shares with the OCM O365 Group. Please expand this to other contacts and groups.

    Great feature! And iOS app is coming along nicely.

  10. Visualization of Sales Funnel

    Since Outlook Customer Manager contains Deals Management including the categorization by different Stages, it would be consequent to offer a summary of deals sorted by the different Stages, such as a Sales Funnel. Additionally it would be helpful if the user could define his own Stages.

  11. Add Labeling and Filter Ability to Timeline items

    Dont abandon it! I am making a significant investment in using it -
    This is one of the most compelling and sickiness features of o365 - don't abandon it or look to hold us ******* later with an upcharge - and I say that as a life long MSFT user (Windows 286 anyone?) and fan and partner.
    Please add contact integration with your Outlook phone client for android - currently to see the contact there you need to "add " the contact to the regular outlook address book on the pc, regardless of what you do in OCM.

  12. the Bing lookup when creating a company is a great idea

    The actual implementation of it is a mind numbing joke. Does anyone at Micrsosoft on this project ever actually try to use it and see the non-sequitir results it comes back with - how can you foist this on users to waste their valuable time - just turn it off until it works or say use it only if you are currently delusional or hallucinating

    First thank you and sorry for the inconvenience. Can you give more detail on what is not working? Is it not finding the companies that you are looking for?

  13. All Contacts limit

    appears to be some upper limit in number of All Contacts - I have 2000 and it causes the app to crash

    We require the function whereby a report can be generated between two dates to see all activity (calls, meetings, emails, etc) for all users during the specified period

  16. Make it work like it should.

    All contacts show as personal and business, cant separate them.

    Tasks do not synch correctly between machines.

  20. Mobile Client - Add separate tabs for companies and clients

    Please add separate tabs for contacts and companies in the mobile client. This just additional clicks for me to get where I want. If you decide not to add a separate tab then at least remember which segment was selected. Currently it always go back to Contacts.
