  3. Please make outlook remember emails that are 'safe' which contain HTML content.

In Windows Outlook you can classify emails from known sources as 'safe' without having to add them to your contacts was you have to in Mac version. I dont want to add Cosco or Honda to my contacts, but I will want to receive mailings, and not have to click on 'Download Pictures' every time.

  4. groups te

When can I see all my groups as it displays only the 10 most active groups on the Mac versions of Outlook? Since 2016 you promised all groups would be visible in a future update ... so when is that?

  5. Include removed attachments filenames in search indexes

I remove large file attachments if they're big files, but I'd still like Outlook search to show me the emails those files were attached to. Helpfully Outlook does show you that a file was removed and gives the filename, so the data is still there. Presumably adding this to what the search indexes should therefore be possible?

  6. Develop an "add note" feature for invitees to Outlook calendar appointments/meetings.

Let's say I've been invited to a meeting. I want to be able to keep track of questions I have, ideas to bring up, agenda items to propose, etc. just so I won't forget them. Items should be visible only to me.

  7. Add feature to highlight complete Emails beside category flags

When receiving emails which I'm storing for later use (review, follow-up, important info) I would prefer them to stand out of the regular. So, when I'm looking for that specific email, I can spot her more easily without opening numerous others emails who have a similar search text element.

  8. Enable/Support Split View

Latest Outlook UI can't compress enough to accommodate both 'Teams' and 'Outlook' on a 15" MacBook Pro screen. Outlook with Split View works great on larger displays.

  9. I suggest a search field popping up when filing emails. It is very useful in the iPhone App. Current workflow cumbersome.

The current work flow for filing emails in the Outlook for Mac App, especially if the target folder is not on the short list. Too many clicks to select the target folder.
In addition, if the folder should be firstly created, this is also nt supported (but on the version Office365 on the web).
A search field for typing and then quickly selecting would be nice.

  10. Category

Category - When selecting a "Category" from the drop down menu in the task bar, it used to display the last used (5) at the top of the drop down menu. This made selecting commonly used category's faster. Currently we may have a Category starting with the letter "R" which means we have to scroll all the way down to the near the bottom of the list. My suggestion is to be able to type in the first letter of our Category once we have clicked on the drop down menu, this would then take us to the alphabet area…

  11. banded read pane

Hello there, I'd like to use outlook, but I find a plain white reading pane background difficult to use. Today I use thunderbird and it bands alternative emails - which (for me) makes distinguishing between emails much easier. I this possible ?
    Thanks

  12. cc bcc

Is there a solution how to make the cc-fields visible as a standard ? (We have the problem both on Mac and PC).
It is really annoying that you cannot see the cc-field until you click the "more information" button. Hope you can help.

  13. Add buttons to new email notifications.

Add "Delete" button to Notification similar to what Mac Mail has, for quick deletion. Archive button would also be useful..

  14. Allow Undo Send on Mac App

Allow mac app users to tun on undo send where we have up to 30 seconds to cancel an email message they have sent. There is an option within the Portal under Automatic Processing but is not supported.

  16. I suggest you make the Mac version of Outlook allow the option to open the next message upon a delete or move.

I won't use Outlook on Mac because the feature to open the next message upon a delete or move that I've used in Outlook for years is missing on the Mac. The Windows version has the ability to set what action is performed upon a message delete or move. Mac just moves the message or deletes it and the message stays on the screen. This is very annoying and I won't use the Mac versions of Microsoft. It's amazing to me that this was omitted on the Mac. I see 1000's of posts for people using this feature. Seems pretty…

  17. Provide the ability to create folders for Gmail users.

Our company uses Gmail. Most users use webmail which I find difficult to manage and difficult to follow threads/conversations. I would prefer to use Outlook. I am a consummate folder user. If I'm trying to get away from Gmail webmail, why make me go back to webmail to create and organize folders? Also, would appreciate the ability to access the corporate address book. This is for Outlook 365 on a Mac.

  18. Provide small icon view for ribbon

Provide a small icon view for the ribbon. Access to ribbon is useful, however the current ribbon takes more screen real estate.

  19. Add Sent box rules ability on server side

It would be really handy to be able to be able to create a sent box rule on the server side. Presently you can have a sent box rule on the client side within the Windows version of outlook, but there isn't even that option in Outlook for Mac. The sooner the better please guys and girls.

  20. I suggest you add better Outlook integration with Planner

there is no easy way to add an email from outlook to a planner task as a attachment. An option in outlook to add to plan, attach to planner task would be great.
