  1. Offline emails "sent" date & time are shown with the email creation date not the actual sent date in Yahoo and Gmail IMAP

    When you create an email in offline mode and press 'send" as soon as you finish the email, but connecting to the internet sometime later, using Gmail or Yahoo IMAP settings, the emails will be sent with the date of creation, not with the actual date and time when it was sent. If you create an email on Sunday, but you send it on Tuesday, the recipient will receive it with Sunday's date. It causes a lot of confusion.

  2. Allow images in appointments (or process HTML!)

    Outlook 2016 Mac - the body of the appointment field is very limited in what types of information it will accept and/or process. Often the easiest way to drop in a large amount of information is to put an image. It can be dropped and/or pasted in. But when you try to save it, it says it can't store that type of object and doesn't save (although it helpfully offers to open the default profile folder location for me!?).

  4. Auto Numbering Formatting

    When using auto numbering function on Outlook 2016 Mac, the font of the numbering changes after you sent out the email even though I've formatted them with a consistent font. This is really bothering me, please do something about it! Thanks!

  6. Fix multilevel sorting in contacts

    In outlook for Windows, contacts can be sort in two steps:
    first by category
    second by last name.

    With this the contacts are still in alphabetical order but first in categories like "Provider", "Personal" etc.

  7. Assign a keyboard shortcut for “new email from template”!

    Please assign a keyboard shortcut or at least make a button for “new email from template”! It is a great new “feature” to have templates for the Mac version, but no one wants to wander around menu items to get an email started! Thank you!!

    Word Suggestions similar to seen in Pages or Apple Mail would be useful on touch bar for all Office 365 applications.

    This will speed up tying.

    remove word suggestions in To or CC of Outlook mail. That is not useful at all.

  10. copy email to a user created folder when sending

    This suggestion would be a toggle ("on" or "off" user option) If "on" when sending email have a pop-up open showing all Outlook folders. The pop-up window will open just after the sent key is pressed. User will choose the folder the sent email will be COPIED to. Copy not move. It is a pain to go back to the sent folder and copy emails to appropriate user created folders.

  11. Add ability to send invite as attachment

    Need the ability to send invites at attachments rather than adding large distributions to the "to" field. Especially when people can choose which meeting time they want to go to (like a series of training meetings)

  12. Allow preference be set to 'keep source formatting' when pasting

    Presently copy/ paste replaces formatting with the destination styles. It would be very useful to be able to select 'keep source' as the default rather than the other way around.

  14. Enable Read/Unread for the new "Groups" folders

    Enable Read/Unread for the new "Groups" folders. User cannot currently apply read/unread to a single or multiple emails in those Groups. This makes it very annoying to process through those emails.

  15. always use single-line layout

    I miss the "Always use single-line layout" feature from Outlook for Windows. In Outlook Mac, when the reading pane is on the Right, the message list cannot be single-line.

  16. Stop automatic display of an email in Reading Pane

    Currently when launching Outlook or clicking an email folder to view its contents, Outlook automatically selects the first email in the list and displays its contents in the Reading Pane. The contents of an email SHOULD NOT be displayed in the Reading Pane until an email is clicked on by the user!!!! Entourage 2004/2008 and Outlook 2011 did not do this!!!!

  18. feature of converting 24-hour format to 12-hour format in appointment setting

    When user input 24-hour format time (ex. 15:30), It does not change to 12-hour time (ex. 3:30 PM) in calendar.
    But It changes to “1”
    In windows version outlook, “15:30” changes to “3:30 PM” automatically.

    It is bug !!
