  1. Google Calendar - HTML Integration

Please allow for HTML content included in the calendar message body to be exchanged between Outlook and Google calendars without corruption.

  2. add filter bar on top of folders list

I have a large and deep hierarchy of folders. Navigating them is very painful, especially when trying to move mails from the inbox to those folders. it would be great if there was a filter textbox on the top, where I can enter a portion of the folders name and the list is filtered accordingly

  3. Enable S/MIME Support for Linked Gmail Accounts

Would love to see the Gmail/Google Apps integration (when it goes mainstream) have the ability to support S/MIME certificates (similar to the Windows support).

  5. Add a Button in the Error Window to Open an Item that won't Sync

When a local item fails to synchronize properly against Exchange in Outlook for Mac, please add a button to open the offending item directly so it can be fixed. This helps tremendously when a single item in a thread of items with the same name (e.g. a long email thread) and searching for the broken item is very difficult.

  6. New email/reply split in full screen

Please add the ability to split the reading pane and message pane when in full screen. resizing windows to fit, is not the way to be productive.

  7. Re-instate the "Group similar folders, such as Inboxes, from different accounts" preference that was removed in July 2017 Update of Office

In the July 2017 update of Office 2016, you removed the item:

Preferences \ Personal \ General \ Folder List \ Group similar folders, such as Inboxes, from different accounts.

Now we have mailboxes organized like:
    Office365account1
    \Inbox
    \Sent
    \Junk
    \Trash

    Office365account2
    \Inbox
    \Sent
    \Junk
    \Trash

What we had before was the option to have:
    Inbox
\Office365account1 (which shows the inbox for that account
\Office365account2 (which shows the inbox for that account
\SomeIMAPaccount1 (which shows the inbox for that account.

Here is the official Outlook for 2016 documentation which shows how to turn this feature on and off.

  8. Outlook macOS - Improvements (ViewPorts & Functionality)

    MainView (Inbox)

    • implement right sidebar as like in Windows Version with mini calendar and appointments for quick overview

    Calendar

    • enable more than 3 calendars in Columnview (for powerusers it would be nice to have at least 7 calendars in columnview side by side to organize events and appointments, e.g. across conference rooms.

  9. Fix Meeting Requests!

When a client rule moves meetings to a local inbox folder all of the meeting properties are lost. The ability to Accept/Decline/Propose New Time are not there. You need to open the calendar, find the tentative item and process it there.

  11. Bring Back Schedules

Why would you remove this feature in the first place? You can only apply rules to new messages so if i want do schedule my trash to remove all items older than 1 day for example i now can't do it.

  13. You make the groups function available for perpetual licenses for Outlook Mac!

Make the groups functionality available in the Outlook client for Mac in all versions and not just for subscriptions!

  15. Add Drop and Copy Appointment to Shared Calendar

The current version of Outlook will not support moving or copying appointments between accounts (Shared Calendars). Lawyer in a law firm here, and it would be great to be able to pull and drop appointments from other shared calendars that we have set-up.
    (Windows Outlook has this feature).

  16. Change shared calendars to not have to download the data (but in stead look directly to the server).

When opening a shared calendar it takes time to download the calendar. When adding more than approximately 8 calendars Outlook gets really slow. It would be nice if the shared calendars weren't downloaded, but in stead "look" directly to the server (in our case office365). This would speed up things a lot. To my knowledge this is the case in Outlook for Windows. The Online Archive in the mail section has a similar approach to my knowledge.

  17. Fix multiple Main Window issue - broke around June 2017

Until recently, you could have two "Main Windows" open (File > New > Main Window) and use one window for Mail and the other for Calendar. This was great for me on my dual monitors, as I could have one window on each monitor.

This ability broke in the last couple of versions on the "Slow" development track, I think around the time of the June 2017 Slow Build release. The second window will still open, but you lose function and/or display information. For example, you can click in an email thread but the mail display will not update, or…

  18. Add the function "view in browser"

For windows there is the function view in browser, so you can open your email in a webbrowser.

  19. Handle email autocomplete better

When entering an email address, a list of email addresses pops up. But the first selected address is no the first address which seems to be the most frequently emailed address-so the most likely match is NOT selected. The default selection appears to be any random address OTHER than the first one. This seems more like a bug than a feature.
If the addresses were tallied and had a running 60 day total to use for the ranking that would be even better (old contacts sometimes surface above newer ones).

  20. Favorites hierarchy

Make Favorites folders inherit the down hierarchy and do not stop to the actual level they're pointing to
