  1. Calendar and task-list in main-screen of outlook

At the moment calendar and task-list just can be used in separate screens. It would be very useful to implement both features (calendar & task-list) in the main screen of outlook, where mail view and folder structure is located. Windows-version of outlook already delivers this function by a so called "popup"-function, so please make it possible for mac-users, too. thanks.

  2. Add "Join" button for well-known conference services

My meetings are generally on Skype for Business, Teams, GoToMeeting, WebEx, and Zoom. Very often, the URL is embedded within the notes portion of the meeting invitation.

If the meeting is for Skype or Teams, there's a "Join" button in the reminders window and also when I click on the meeting in the calendar. It would be nice if Outlook would recognize other well-known meeting services and do the same so that I don't have to open up the meeting invitation to get to the link.

  3. Tally number of accepts, denies, etc on meeting invites

In Windows Outlook, as a meeting organizer, you can open the appointment and see the total number of accepts, denies, tentatives and no responses. This is extremely useful for anyone organizing a work event and needing a head count.

  4. Recurring series at non-regular intervals

Allow us to create events that are linked the same way that a recurring series is, but do not re-occur at regular intervals. For example, I'd like to be able to create three linked events where the first two occur on the third Friday of the month, but the last one occurs on the second Friday of the month.

  5. Dual alarm

    Two alarms,
For early morning meetings, it would be great to set an alarm for the afternoon/evening before, and then have a second alarm go off in the morning. This would also help for full day settings (example - birthday reminder a week before, then one the morning of).
    Thanks

  6. Remember which calendars are selected when we leave that pane

In Outlook 365 for Mac, I have multiple calendars in my account, only one which I use regularly. Whenever I click on the "Calendar" icon, every calendar in my account is selected. I have to manually deselect the lesser used calendars every time.

When I uncheck a calendar, I want that calendar to stay unchecked until it is selected again. I do not want the calendar deleted, or removed from the list, I just want it to stay unchecked.

  7. Fix direct entry of appointments in calendars

It used to be possible to drag a time range in a calendar, and then type in the title of the appointment right there. Now, after dragging the time range, it just says 'New Appointment', and I have to double-click to open the entry and add a title.

  8. Calendar - does not auto-populate

On Outlook for PC .... when a Calendar invite arrives - it automatically puts a 'greyed out' copy into a calendar view. This feature is missing on a MAC .... which means it is easy to miss an invite when you have a busy inbox. It is a great feature of Outlook ..... should be there for a MAC

  9. Create Adjustable Buffer Time for "Events from Email"

It is great to have my flight automatically show up on calendar but it does not factor in boarding time and allows people to book during boarding. It would be ideal to have an option to set a buffer time for the automatic meeting. For example for flight I might put 60 minutes buffer so if my flight is from 12:05pm-2:50pm then the calendar would book for 11:05 am to 2:50pm or create two appointments for pre-flight and flight. Same would apply for event, dining, and service events.

  10. teams meeting details should appear at top of meeting invite

When inviting people to a teams meeting on the Mac the meeting details are added to the bottom of the email and people often say that the joining information is missing however if this was at the top of the email /invite it would be easier and more obvious when they are joining the meeing.

  11. Automatic assignment of Meeting Rooms

When I schedule a meeting (series of meeting ) it is difficult to get same meeting room for entire duration (entire series). To add to complexity, when there are participants from multiple location and we need to book a room for each location across the globe it gets more challenging. I want outlook to come up with smart meeting room allocation algorithm to pick up a meeting room from each location whichever are available for the time slot of a meeting. Algorithm could assign different rooms at different location for each occurrence of the meeting but at the time of…

  12. Provide "emails received that day" from a day being viewed on Calendar

As a user, I often wish to see emails received on a past day or week of my calendar. I would like a contextual command to construct an email search criteria from the selected Calendar view.

    "Emails received that day|week"

  13. Show me four weeks of my calendar rather than a calendar month when I select month view

When I go to month view, it shows me an entire calendar month, regarldess of where I am in that month. This is annoying because I can towards the end of the month (say September 25) and the majority of the screen still shows me calendar events for September. It would be better that it, instead, shows four-five weeks worth of events, the majority of which are in the future.

    For example:
    1) Click month view
    2) Show:
    a) Last week
    b) This week
    c) Next week
    d) The week after

This should automatically scroll and update every week.

  14. Display detail of a meeting attendee when you click same as in mail

If I click an addressee in Outlook mail it show a pop-up with details of that person. Please add the same to attendee list in the schedule window for a meeting so I can see a persons detail without having to manually look them up in contacts.

  15. Calendar, refusing a meeting invitation do not delate the meeting from calendar

It could be useful for time management to keep in the calendar a trace of a meeting on witch we've been invited even if we refuse participation

  16. Show meeting category colors when scheduling a meeting in Scheduling tab

When scheduling a meeting, the colors that are assigned to a meeting, via a Category, aren't being displayed when the Scheduling tab is active

  17. Enable automatic synchronization of event answers between web-interface and outlook for mac (desktop app)

When I send a calender event invitation to an attendee (in or out my organization) the outlook for mac desktop app does not sync the attendee's answer automatically with the web-interface. In the web-interface I can see that the person has accepted my invitation. But in the Outlook for Mac App I only see "the attendee has not answered yet". Even hours later this information is still not synced. I must click on "sync now" to update the calender. Then it works. It would be much more helpful if the outlook app syncs automatically.

  20. Ability for Calendar filters, i.e. Categories, to support Grid view, currently only supports List view. Feature removed in 16.20 update

Microsoft removed the feature for you to select which Category to show on a Calendar i.e. Grid View. You used to be able to do this by clicking on the Triangle next to a Calendar in the Sidebar which would display all of your Categories. Then you could pick and choose which Categories to display on your Calendar. Now that this feature is removed, you must use Filters, which would be OK but Filters only support List View. Feature removed in 16.19 or 16.20 update.
