Indentation is not enough for quoting email text. Not having a clear character as ”>“ (as plain text standard) or “|” (as apple mail) holds me from using Outlook on my Mac. Although it is a really goog email client.

BUG: Outlook for Mac adds the email address of all connected accounts to an automatic ME contact On My Computer, the profile picture of which then overrides the correct profile picture for all emails associate with each account.

I have the option to send OOO replies to all or to my contacts. I would also like the option to send OOO to any user of a particular domain. I have customers who may not be in my contacts list but I know the domain name that someone would be sending from.This would give better control than sending to all external users.

In outlook for windows you can drag and drop the email accounts to reorder them however you like. I would like to see this functionality in outlook for mac as well.

When I send hyperlinks to files from Outlook from Mac Windows users cannot open it, due to the different nature of hyperlink creation of the two OS. I'd like to be able to create a hyperlink to a file on a Mac that Windows users can open.

For legal purposes I need to save all emails pertaining to specific real estate transactions their respective FOLDERs in Documents on my MAC. I then download them to a thumb drive and save them for 7 years, as required. About 3 years ago that capability disappeared and I've been stuck ever since.

Please provide a functionality such as NoReplyAll so that it is possible to prevent forwarding of e-mails.

I want to set up auto-reply messages based on the incoming email address, but the rules interface doesn't give an option of "reply to sender."

Why is it so difficult to set up an out of office that triggers daily after business hours?
Currently, if I have to schedule an out of office that triggers everyday between 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM, I actually have to manually set up the Out of Office daily!

This is just a pain. There HAS to be a simpler way to get this done!

Would like to have the iOS "send availability" & "defer (scheduling) email" features in Mac version. Currently, the iOS features do not appear to be available in the Mac version.

When using various mail accounts, an overview under "all accounts" of all inboxes would be very helpful as in older Outlook versions. Working with various mail accounts in the new version of Outlook is not user friendly. In particular, you do not see how many unread messages there are other than after opening each of the mail accounts. I am using four mail accounts on a daily basis for various businesses.

Allow us to automatically empty the "Junk" folder based on a schedule or rule. This would be similar to "auto-archive" in the Windows version, so that the Junk folder doesn't just fill up forever on a POP account (which I use in my work). Yet another request to make the Mac Outlook resemble the Windows version.

Create a tab (or view) that allows me to easily switch between a message list that contains internal and external emails. I could see a tab next to "other" or a special filter under the Filter Email button on the Ribbon.

Ability, once responding to a mail, to toggle 'reply' or 'reply all'. Save copying and pasting once you realise your mistake or change your mind...

Create a button of Send & Archive to increase productivity

Allow "Filter Email" status to be remembered when switching between e-mail accounts.
Presently you have to redo "Filter E-mail" anytime you switch between inboxes. For example, if I look at Email Account #1 with the "Unread" filter on, then switch momentarily to Email Account #2 to read an e-mail, when I come back to the same folder of Email Account #1, the filter has automatically been removed and I have to redo it.
