Outlook for Mac - Windows functionality
Why is Outlook for Mac so stripped down compared to Outlook for Windows? This makes no sense. Among the things that we need in Outlook for Mac
a) the ability to pin tasks so that we can see them despite switching windows
b) the ability to see sent messages in the same thread, rather than the annoying and useless "you replied to this message on X" date. If Gmail can figure it out, I'm sure Microsoft, can, too.
c) Calendar preview of upcoming events when you hover over the calendar icon while viewing mail (as you can in the Windows version).
d) sort mail by category - as you can in most other email clients
Tl;dr - give Mac users the same Outlook functionality as Windows users. It works for most/all other Microsoft problems, and is infuriating with Outlook. Feels like we're stuck in the early 1990s over here.
