Phishing on Outlook MAC
I suggest you add a report phishing button to Outlook for MAC. It provides a more seamless user experience between OS’.
Currently Outlook does not help me in identifying phishing emails. By default, the sender email address should always be shown - and not just the display name string part that can be faked. Ideally the adress part is in bold.
Furthermore, the sender adress should be checked vs. the Outlook address book, and if it is a known address it should be color coded in green - similar to what browsers do with HTTPS URLs and certificates. There should be a way to trigger a visual change (e.g. red bold email sender) in the Outlook client, e.g. by adding an internal header on the receiving server. E.g. if the malware scanners consider an email a potential threat, they can add a warning header that will highlight this so the user applies more scrutiny when reading the email. Organisations can then use this to customize their email handling.
