Remove Send button from Touch Bar
MS has started to integrate the touch bar into the Office suite- which is awesome. I’ve seen some improvements to my workflow. However, the last update has added a “send” button to Outlook. In the last two days, I have accidently sent several messages while still composing. MS needs to allow configuration of the touch bar, or move/remove the send button ASAP.
Send button workflow has been updated based on your feedback: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/outlookformac/2017/04/12/insider-fast-release-notes-15-34-170411/

Touch Bar: send button is now a popover, helping to safeguard against accidental sends
Same issue still present in 16.13 please allow full touch bar customization to remove the ESC and SEND buttons!
Not sure if this was fixed in 15.34, but in 16.13 a single touch is enough to send the message.
PLEASE add function to customise touch bar!! Current placement of the send button is totally bogus. I hope you guys are eating your own dog food over there.

Still a problem for me. Has this truly been fixed?

For the love of god please remove the send button from the touch bar.
Please remove send button from touch bar. Numerous emails have been sent by accident!
Re: "send button is now a popover, helping to safeguard against accidental sends"-
I've updated Outlook repeatedly but this accidental send problem persists. Why? Why hasn't the send button moved from its awkwardly accident-prone position at the touch bar's left end?

Please fix this now - I spent years trying to get everybody in my company to use the same email client - now I'm tempted to be the defector.

I agree with all previous comment. This NEEDS to be fixed. I send premature emails all the time and it is ridiculous. Outlook also doesn't allow you to edit the Touchbar like other supported apps via the "View" navigation. This is a serious problem and I am close to not using Outlook at all for my email service due to it.

What is a "popover"? How does this help safeguard against accidental sends? It's not safeguarding me. I send a dozen a week:-(
Hello Mac Outlook Team admin,
The problem with your popover is that it's still directly next to the send button. If you moved it a further distance, maybe this would work. As it stands, in my first day of use I've already sent a half composed email.
Please, fix this or allow me to remove it completely.
Add me to the list. Happens frequently.

Thank you for fixing.
@Billy - i tried the steps u suggested - no luck. when i click on view - i don't see a 'customize touch bar' option in the dropdown. I am using ms outlook for mac 15.32(170309). Do i need an update ??
If you have not messed around with it yet you can delete the send button from the touch pad... You open mail, open a new compose letter/message. Once it is open you click on view on the top bar, go down to customize touch bar. It will give you options to add to the touch bar and what not but to delete you touch the send button on the touch bar slide it over to the right then a trash can icon will show up on the left and you just drop it and say bye bye.
Remove send from the touch bar. It's a recipe for disaster.
PLEASE PLEASE REMOVE OR ADD CONFIGURATION FOR THIS BUTTON!
Please remove the send button from the touchbar.
Seriously. I'm sending email prematurely several times a day and it's getting old.
