I need tight integration between Outlook for Mac and Microsoft Todo. I would like to be able to send an email from Outlook for Mac and have it turn it into a task in Microsoft Todo. And then I would like to go into that task in Microsoft Todo and open the original email in Outlook.
I don't want flagged emails to automatically go into Microsoft Todo. That makes no sense. I receive many emails from colleagues that were flagged unnecessarily and I don't want them to clutter up my Microsoft Todo window.
And of course I would like to set up smart rules, e.g. everything from my boss directly goes into Microsoft Todo.
Thanks

Replace Add to Wunderlist with Add to Microsoft TODO since you killed Wunderlist and TODO is the replacement.

As per the Windows version of Outlook, there needs to be the option to add the 'To-Do Bar' to the right hand side of the screen so that you can view the Calendar (including upcoming meetings), People and Tasks.

Since Wunderlist is going away and telling everyone to migrate to Microsoft To Do, can you please allow To Do as an add-in for Outlook for Mac. Wunderlist is already an add-in so it seems like it would be easy to do and it's your product.

This is a must for power users.
We definitely want this to work on Mac as well. -

Please make this a top priority. In the Outlook for Mac non-business use group, MS has this tagged as "Working on it." Please update the status here as well and provide users with an update timeline. I see no reference currently to this feature in the roadmap.

Not just in the Mail View, but bring it back in All views. Outlook use to be far more than an email program, it was a time management program. The ability to see Time commitments (calendar) and activity commitments (Tasks) on the same screen is KEY to managing your time. The TODO bar panel on the Calendar view is Perfect for this. It was hobbled back in 2003 when "Active Tasks for selected days" was removed as a feature, but with filters can be made to focus again.

Everyone, lets vote for this idea. That is the only way to get some attention to this feature idea.
Comments are only helping share our sorrow.
We need to vote and give this a flag for management to see.
LET'S VOTE!! -

How is this suggestion not even "under review" or "planned" ?!

This is mission critical, especially since there seems to be no way to include Outlook calendar events in the Notifications window. It's a PITA to have to open the calendar 20 times every day to see what's upcoming.

You can use the split view in Mac to have mail on one side and Tasks/Calendar on the other.
It is sub-optimal as the task view takes a lot of screen space and reduces the available space for mail
