OneNote Integration
Integrate Outlook for Mac with Onenote for Mac. Having the ability to single click an email to add to OneNote is a major win.

The OneNote team has started pushing out the new OneNote O365 add-in in production. It will be a gradual rollout that will happen over the 2nd quarter of 2019. This add-in will support sending mails and events (meetings) to your notebooks.
Thanks!
The Outlook for Mac Team

From the sounds of this thread https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Outlook-Blog/Outlook-for-Mac-now-supports-sending-items-to-OneNote-in-Insider/ba-p/123708 the feature has been discontinued.
Is it discontinued or is this very useful and time saving feature coming to Outlook for Mac?

Great news it is in the fast build, but when should we expect to see in the slow build and then GA?

see comments below re integrating tasks - onenote for mac does not even allow you to search for tasks in notes - which makes it pretty useless - they should sync back to outlook tasks and / or planner

I run a windows VM with Outlook on it specifically to leverage the Outlook/OneNote integration pieces.
Specifically being able to start a OneNote note from outlook and take meeting notes (link in calendar)
As well as adding meeting information to OneNote notes (though I get that this is a OneNote feature)

The integration of OneNote and Outlook so that tasks/todos seamlessly integrate has been requested for over two years, was started in March 2017 and has yet to materialise. This is such a fundamental feature and significantly inhibits practical use of OneNote. Please accelerate the delivery of this feature.

I imagine OneNote being the hub for all future project information. All 365 apps should have full integration with OneNote to save items and email OneNote pages or links.

Totally agree with this feature. All my Windows-using colleagues use it regularly and it would be excellent if the Mac version of Outlook was able to take advantage of closer OneNote integration.
