Outlook for Mac - Business

Add Ignore Thread / Conversation

The windows client lets you select email threads and ignore all future responses to it. There's no reason mac users shouldn't have this option. I would love to ignore all threads involving my coworkers cats or memes on my mac client, but I can't. I'm forced to live with their cats and cat meme threads.

So its been a solid year since this was put on the review list. I understand that software development takes a long time but this seems like a no-brainer to add into the client. Its not even an obscure feature we're talking about here, its literally on the comparison list of things Mac Outlook can't do that windows can. Can we please put this into the working on it category, at this rate we wont see relief from cat memes until 2020 or later...

Under review for 7 months? Who can I bribe for this feature? It would make email processing so much easier every day!

This feature should be available to mac users too. In fact, all features available to Windows users should also be available to mac users. It would be a confident move on the part of Microsoft to make that the case on all their products; it would be like saying, "yeah, we make all features of our software available on macs as well as PCs because we're confident you'll choose Windows computers over macs anyday. Especially considering how awesome the new Windows machines are now.
